(1) Dampness and heat accumulation:

Anorectal tumors, abdominal pain and distension, increased frequency of bowel movements with mucus, pus and blood, or tenesmus, decreased appetite. Yellow and greasy tongue coating, slippery and rapid pulse. The diet should be light and easy to digest and absorb.

①Purslane and mung bean soup

120g fresh purslane (or 60g dried purslane. Add appropriate amount of water to the above raw materials and decoct 500ml. Take 1 to 2 times a day for 2 to 3 weeks. Purslane is sour and cold and non-toxic, and mung bean is cold in nature. Together, they can clear away heat and detoxify, promote diuresis and reduce swelling, and promote the production of body fluids. 250g fresh kiwifruit. Eat raw every day. Clears heat and soothes the stomach, promotes diuresis and relieves stranguria. Fresh kiwifruit is sweet, sour and cool, delicious and tasty, and can be used as a therapeutic fruit for patients with intestinal cancer. Its root is called vine pear root, which has the effects of promoting blood circulation, detoxifying, clearing heat and moistening. It is better to decoct it instead of tea and eat it together.

③ Red bean and Job's tears porridge

50g of red adzuki beans, soak raw coix seed. Cook over low heat until soft, add rice and cook into porridge, add sugar and eat. It can clear heat and promote diuresis, disperse blood and detoxify. The red adzuki beans in the recipe are sweet, sour and flat, can promote diuresis, clear heat and detoxify, disperse blood and reduce swelling, raw coix seed is sweet, light and slightly cold, can strengthen the spleen and drain dampness, clear heat and discharge pus, dispel wind and dampness, and rice can nourish the spleen and harmonize the stomach. It is used for patients with damp-heat accumulation type colorectal cancer. It can be taken for 10 to 15 days.

(2) Qi stagnation and blood stasis:

Common in the advanced stage of colorectal cancer.

Painful, hard and immovable, abdominal distension and diarrhea, purplish black pus and blood in the stool, tenesmus. Purple tongue or ecchymosis, yellow fur, and astringent and deep pulse. The diet should be soft and light, easy to absorb, with less residue and less oil. Because of the loss of body fluids, more medicinal teas and soups should be used to replenish body fluids.

① Bergamot porridge

15g bergamot, 100g polished rice, appropriate amount of rock sugar. Boil the bergamot for later use. Add appropriate amount of polished rice to cook into porridge. Boil the bergamot juice and rock sugar slightly. Take once a day for 10-15 days. Bergamot tastes bitter, sour and warm, enters the spleen, stomach and liver meridians, regulates qi and relieves pain, strengthens the stomach and stops vomiting. It is used to treat patients with abdominal distension.

② Purple Amaranth Porridge

100g fresh purple amaranth, 100g polished rice. Remove the roots of purple amaranth, clean and chop, and cook porridge with polished rice. Take twice a day for 10-15 days. Purple amaranth tastes sweet and cool in nature, and has the effect of clearing heat, cooling blood and dispersing blood stasis. It can be made into porridge, which helps to restore physical strength.

③Peach Blossom Porridge

Fresh peach petals and glutinous rice. Cook into porridge and take once every other day for 7 to 14 days. It is diuretic, blood circulation and laxative. Peach blossoms are bitter, sweet and non-toxic. They can reduce swelling, relieve bad breath, promote diuresis, eliminate phlegm and fluid stagnation, and treat constipation. It can be combined with glutinous rice to moderate its effect. This recipe is suitable for those with dry heat constipation. Stop taking it once it is relieved. Do not take it for a long time.

For patients with colorectal cancer, the process is very uncomfortable, whether it is treatment or recovery. At this time, they must rely on all current conditioning methods to control it, so as to better treat the disease while alleviating the patient's pain, thereby achieving the greatest effect.
