Regarding the use of urine to treat gastric cancer, Compendium of Materia Medica cites three methods:

One is human urine alone. According to Tang Su Gong's "Tang Materia Medica", when gastric cancer spreads and various treatments and drugs are ineffective, human urine can be used. The text says: "For patients with abdominal fullness and all kinds of medicines are ineffective, one liter of urine will be taken, and blood clots will come out in 20 days." At that time, one liter was equivalent to about 500 milliliters now. After drinking it for 20 days, thick blood and dirty clots will come out. The method does not specify whether to drink one's own urine or boy's urine. Instead, it refers to human urine in general. Drinking one's own urine is the safest and most effective method now).

The second method is to combine boy's urine with other drugs to make a compound prescription to treat gastric tumors. The Compendium of Materia Medica cites the Taiping Shenghui Prescription to treat "all gas masses, cold and evil diseases" in the abdomen. In fact, it is caused by the accumulation of qi stagnation and evil cold for a long time, which causes blood stasis and unresolved abdominal tumors. The method is: "Take two catties of Sophora flavescens and one dou and two liters of boy's urine and boil it to six liters, add glutinous rice and koji, and make wine according to the usual method. All abdominal diseases will be cured," and "this wine will not go bad for two or three years. It can save lives with miraculous effects." The above prescription for treating gastric tumors is a typical compound prescription combining urine therapy and traditional Chinese medicine, but it uses boy's urine exclusively and does not mention using your own urine.

Third, the Compendium of Materia Medica cited Zhu Danxi's "reverse storage method" for treating gastric cancer, and explicitly proposed "drinking one's own urine", and it was done in conjunction with taking other medicines.

Zhu Danxi's "Daocang Method" not only proposed a therapy that combines urine therapy with other drugs, but also gave a very vivid and specific description of the etiology, pathogenesis, and symptoms of gastric cancer. Zhu Zhenheng's theory of "Dao Cang Lun" says: "The stomach and intestines are the rooms for storing grains, so they are called granaries; "Dao Cang" means to push away the old and bring in the new. The stomach belongs to the earth, and it receives things but cannot move them by itself. The seven emotions and five flavors can hurt the middle organs (referring to the stomach), and the stagnant phlegm (referring to the sticky and bloody secretions in the stomach) and the accumulated blood are entangled and entangled, forming a substance, a nest and a mortar, which cause all kinds of diseases. The middle organs are complex and cannot be cured by pills or powders." Therefore, Zhu Danxi advocated the use of "sweet and warm" yellow beef soup for internal consumption to "calm the middle, replenish qi and nourish the spleen and stomach", and drink it with urine to achieve the purpose of both tonification and drainage, and to push away the old and bring in the new. "Dao Cang Fa" says: "This recipe comes from a strange man in the Western Regions. The method: "Use 20 kilograms of yellow fat ox beef, boil it for a long time until it becomes porridge, remove the dregs and filter the liquid, and then boil it until it turns amber and collect it. Drink one cup each time, and drink dozens of cups at a time. Drink warm in cold months. If the disease is in the upper part, it will cause vomiting, if it is in the lower part, it will cause diarrhea, and if it is in the middle, it will cause vomiting and diarrhea.

After a person has vomited and had diarrhea, if he is thirsty, he should drink one or two bowls of urine, which can also wash away the remaining dirt. He should sleep for two days and then eat light porridge. After recuperating for half a month, he will be in good spirits and all serious illnesses will be gone. When Zhu Danxi discussed the mechanism of this method, he pointed out that "yellow beef is a medicine for the stomach", and "cooked and liquid" beef soup is the same as human urine called "reincarnation wine" and "restore soup". "It is an invisible thing, so it can pass through the intestines and stomach and penetrate the skin, hair pores, nails and nails. Those on the surface will sweat due to vomiting, those in the clear path will be vomited away by themselves, and those in the turbid path will be eliminated by themselves. It is like a flood, and the old stems will go downstream, full of vitality, moisturizing and withered, and it is a medicine for refreshing."
