Causes of laryngeal cancer

The causes of laryngeal cancer are as follows:

1. Smoking: The burning of tobacco can produce tobacco tar, among which benzopyrene can cause cancer. Tobacco smoke can stop or slow the movement of cilia, cause mucosal edema and bleeding, and cause epithelial hyperplasia and thickening, and squamous metaplasia, which becomes the basis for cancer.
