These spots or papules are mostly solar keratosis. Although the chance of canceration is low, it is also a precancerous lesion of skin cancer. Solar keratosis is closely related to sun exposure. It is generally more common in Caucasians and relatively less common in Asians. However, there is still a high risk of disease in plateaus and coastal areas with strong ultraviolet radiation levels, as well as in people who are exposed to the sun for a long time due to farming fields. At the same time, because the damage to the skin caused by sun exposure is chronic and cumulative, the older people are, the higher the chance of developing solar keratosis.
