Rehabilitation Medicinal Diet for Gastric Cancer Patients

Gastric cancer patients are weak and have poor appetite after surgery, but this period is also a critical period for replenishing the body's nutrition and promoting recovery. Patients can take medicated food to adjust according to their own conditions.

Ginseng and Astragalus Chicken Soup

Ingredients: 6 grams of ginseng, 20 grams of astragalus, 150 grams of chicken.

Preparation: Slice ginseng, peel and cut 150g chicken into thin strips. Boil ginseng and astragalus in appropriate amount of water, boil the chicken with water, drink the soup and eat the chicken.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and replenishes Qi, nourishes the kidney and produces blood. Suitable for postoperative weight loss, poor appetite, and Qi and blood deficiency.

Astragalus and Duck Soup

Ingredients: 30g Beiqi, 20g Placenta, 15g Cordyceps, 1 old duck.

Preparation: Slice the Astragalus membranaceus, clean it and wrap it in gauze. Kill the old duck, remove the internal organs and fat, put the Astragalus membranaceus and Cordyceps sinensis into the duck belly, and sew it with bamboo sticks. Add appropriate amount of water and stew the duck until it is cooked, and season with salt. Remove the Astragalus membranaceus and placenta, eat the Cordyceps sinensis, and drink the soup or eat it with a meal.

Efficacy: replenishes qi, nourishes yin and produces blood. Suitable for those with weak qi and blood deficiency after surgery, and whose wounds are difficult to heal.

Rice with wolfberry, lotus seed and astragalus

Ingredients: 20 grams of wolfberry, 20 grams of lotus seed, 100 grams of astragalus, and 250 grams of polished rice.

Preparation: Boil water with the first three ingredients, then add glutinous rice into the water and cook into porridge.

Efficacy: nourishes yin and blood, tonifies liver and kidney. Suitable for patients with weak blood and qi after surgery, poor sleep at night, palpitations and sweating.
