Wang Ying is 43 years old today. One year ago, she developed vaginal bleeding without obvious cause. The color was bright red, but the amount was very small, in the form of drops, and it usually disappeared quickly. Because there was no irregular vaginal bleeding, discharge or abdominal pain, it did not attract much attention. This situation lasted for about a year, until a month ago, when Wang Ying's vaginal bleeding increased after sexual intercourse, about half of the normal menstrual blood volume. This made her panic, so she went to the hospital for treatment the next day accompanied by her lover. The doctor learned that Ms. Wang's diet and sleep were normal, her bowel movements and urination were normal, and her weight had not dropped significantly. She also had no previous medical history. The physical examination results showed that Ms. Wang had normal physical signs, and her general condition and cardiopulmonary function were good. Gynecological examination showed that the vaginal fornix was smooth, the cervix was hypertrophic and lost its normal shape, the posterior lip showed cauliflower-like tissue hyperplasia, brittle texture, easy to bleed, and no thickening of the paracervix. The uterus was anterior, normal size, firm texture, good mobility, and no obvious abnormalities were touched in the bilateral adnexal areas. Gynecological color ultrasound showed that the uterus was anterior, normal in size and shape, with clear contours and uniform reflection of each wall. The size of the cervix was 3.5cm×3.7cm×3.6cm, the internal echo was uneven, and no obvious abnormal echo was found in the bilateral adnexa. A cervical biopsy was performed, and the pathological results reported cervical squamous cell carcinoma. In a case like Wang Ying's, it should have been taken seriously a year ago, because vaginal bleeding would not occur without any reason. There must be a disease. If she had sought medical treatment a year ago, the treatment effect would have been much better than it is now. |
