Diarrhea is also a major manifestation of colitis. Don't think it's a small matter. In fact, the risk of colon cancer in patients with colitis is as high as 40%. Quantitative change leads to qualitative change. When colitis reaches a certain level, colon cancer will occur. Only by completely curing colitis can the occurrence of colon cancer be avoided as much as possible. Therefore, patients with colitis must pay attention to it. Among the patients with colon cancer diagnosed clinically, 60% of them have suffered from colitis. Beijing Yiti Medical Examination Center performed 598 painless gastrointestinal endoscopy examinations from April to November 2008, with a positive detection rate of 93.5%, including 4 cases of colon cancer, and other precancerous lesions such as atypical hyperplasia and tubular adenomas accounted for 13%.

Therefore, everyone must not ignore the symptoms of diarrhea to avoid causing colon cancer.
