Experts explain liver cancer examination liver function test

Liver function tests are essential when examining liver cancer. They can help doctors further understand the liver function of liver cancer patients and develop more scientific treatment plans for liver cancer, which is very beneficial for liver cancer patients. What are the common methods for examining liver cancer ? Here are some common methods for examining liver cancer.

In general, the common examination methods for this type of liver cancer are:

1. Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) ALT abnormality, the examination result of this liver cancer often reflects the damage of liver parenchymal cells, or reflects the massive necrosis of tumor. The ALT of tumor patients is significantly increased, and the surgical mortality rate is also significantly increased.

2. The absolute value of albumin/globulin reflects the total number of effective liver cells, which is obvious when the liver is chronically and severely damaged. It is an important aspect of liver cancer examination. The normal value of albumin is 35-55g/L. It is not suitable for major surgery when it is <30g/L. The normal white/globulin ratio is 1.5-2.5. The inverted white/globulin ratio reflects liver function decompensation and difficulty in enduring major surgery.

3. γ-glutamate transpeptidase (γ-GT): When liver cancer is huge and there are extensive tumor thrombi in the portal vein, and liver function is abnormal, γ-GT will increase significantly, which has a great impact on surgery or prognosis. It is also an important indicator for the examination of liver cancer.

4. Prothrombin time (PT) PT is significantly prolonged. This liver cancer test result indicates severe liver damage and a poor prognosis. Surgery is not recommended when PT is 50% lower than normal.

The above is an introduction to liver function tests in common liver cancer examinations. I hope it will be helpful to liver cancer patients. If liver function has been severely damaged, liver cancer treatment should be carried out more actively in order to control the deterioration of the disease in time and reduce damage.
