(4) Remnant stomach: Cancer that develops in the residual stomach after surgery for benign gastric lesions is called remnant stomach cancer. The incidence rate increases significantly after gastric surgery, especially 10 years after surgery.

(5) Benign gastric ulcer: This is one of the main early symptoms of gastric cancer. The mucosa at the edge of the ulcer is prone to intestinal metaplasia and malignant transformation.

(6) Menetrier disease: serum protein is lost through the giant gastric mucosal folds, clinically presenting with hypoproteinemia and edema, and about 10% may develop into cancer.
