Bone cancer can be diagnosed from the density of tumor tissue

Bone cancer can be diagnosed by the density of tumor tissue, and patients can tell whether they have the disease by looking at some lesions. Do you know what the diagnosis of bone cancer is generally about? In response to this question, experts have given the following explanation.

The diagnosis of bone cancer mainly includes the following points:

1. The impact of the tumor on the host bone. Whether the boundary between the tumor and the host bone is invasive is the primary factor in determining the nature of the lesion. A clear boundary indicates that the tumor grows slowly and is weakly invasive. On the contrary, a blurred boundary indicates that the tumor is highly invasive, which is a diagnosis of bone cancer.

2. Specific bone cancer examination measures are the host's response to the tumor. The host always tries to eliminate the tumor and wrap it to form a fibrous tissue capsule. Fast-growing tumors can infiltrate and destroy this reactive bone capsule, and the remnants of this capsule can only be seen at one or both ends of the tumor, usually manifested as a Codman triangle.

3. The density of tumor tissue is also a measure for bone cancer examination. If there is any density change in bone tissue imaging, the tissue may be suspected to have a lesion. Some tumors are osteolytic lesions, such as giant cell tumor of bone, while some are osteoblastic lesions with irregular or snowflake-shaped bone formation, such as osteosarcoma and chondrosarcoma. This is also a diagnosis of bone cancer.

The above is the explanation given by experts on the diagnosis of bone cancer. I hope it can help you answer your questions. Experts remind everyone that if you suffer from any disease in your daily life, you must not delay treatment. This is very dangerous. Some diseases will worsen or cause other diseases.
