A systematic introduction to the symptoms of skin cancer

Skin cancer can cause great harm to people's skin, so we must pay attention to this disease. So, what are the symptoms of skin cancer ? In response to this question, let's ask an expert to introduce the symptoms of skin cancer to you.

1. Squamous cell carcinoma is more common in people aged 30 to 50, while basal cell carcinoma is more common in people over 50. The symptoms of skin cancer are that the former develops quickly and often grows rapidly in a short period of time; the latter is slow. Squamous cell carcinoma is prone to occur on the lower lip, tongue, nose, vulva, and is often found at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes. The ulcer has a high edge, is red and hard, and is ring-shaped and cauliflower-like in appearance. The surrounding inflammatory reaction is significant, and there are often regional lymphadenopathy. Basal cell carcinoma is prone to occur in the eye socket, inner canthus, nose, cheek, forehead, and back of the hand; the ulcer edge is waxy, nodular, and rolled up, and some are black. The inflammatory reaction is mild or absent, and metastasis is very rare. It mainly infiltrates into deep tissues.

2. Squamous cell carcinoma is often transformed from keratosis, leukoplakia and other precancerous diseases. It grows quickly and forms ulcers in the early stage. Some are nodular or cauliflower-shaped, with less invasion into the deep part and a movable base; some are butterfly-shaped, with more obvious infiltration into the deep part, great destructiveness, and often involving bones. The symptoms of skin cancer are that squamous cell carcinoma is often accompanied by purulent infection, accompanied by foul odor and pain. It is more common in regional

Lymph node metastasis: The author encountered a huge squamous cell carcinoma of the head, which had an extremely foul odor, a lot of purulent secretions, and was prone to bleeding; it also had cervical lymph node metastasis. The most common site of squamous cell carcinoma is the mucocutaneous junction, and mucosal lesions are more likely to metastasize.

3. Basal cell carcinoma is often asymptomatic at the onset. In the early stage, it is mostly a hard plaque papule with a base, and some are wart-like protrusions, which then break into ulcers. They are irregular, with raised edges, like craters, and uneven bottoms, and grow slowly. Metastasis is rare. First, a translucent nodular protrusion with a shallow ulcer appears, which then gradually expands and can erode surrounding tissues and organs, becoming an erosive ulcer. This is one of the symptoms of skin cancer.
