Introducing the clinical manifestations of renal cancer

The kidney is an important organ in the human body. It often causes many diseases, and kidney cancer is one of the most serious ones. So, what are the clinical manifestations of kidney cancer ? Next, let's learn more about it in detail from the following article.

1. Hematuria: Hematuria is one of the most common clinical manifestations of renal cancer. About 60% of renal cancer patients have hematuria. It can be macroscopic hematuria and/or microscopic hematuria. Most clinical manifestations of renal cancer are painless hematuria, and sometimes there is blood in the urine. Hematuria in most renal cancer patients is caused by tumors invading the renal pelvis and calyx. Hematuria is almost the only symptom in patients with renal pelvis cancer.

2. Lumbar mass: 10% of kidney cancer patients can feel a mass in the waist or upper abdomen. Sometimes it can be the only clinical symptom of kidney cancer. The mass of kidney cancer is hard, with an uneven or nodular surface. The mass can be felt during physical examination in patients with kidney cancer who are emaciated or have a mass located at the lower pole of the kidney. If the mass is fixed, it means there is infiltration around the kidney and the prognosis is poor;

1. Low back pain: Low back pain occurs when the renal capsule becomes tense and enlarged after the tumor of kidney cancer grows, or invades surrounding tissues. The clinical manifestation of kidney cancer is persistent dull pain. When the tumor of kidney cancer has invaded the nerves or lumbar spine, it can cause severe and persistent pain. The blood in the urine coagulates into cord-like blood clots in the ureter and is discharged with urine, which can cause renal colic in kidney cancer patients.

The above is a detailed description of the clinical manifestations of kidney cancer. I hope it can help everyone understand the knowledge of kidney cancer in this regard and cure kidney cancer in time.
