It is best for people to learn to recognize the early symptoms of skin cancer

Skin cancer is a disease with a very high incidence rate among cancers. Of course, this is also the reason for the high mortality rate. Only when the number of people suffering from it is large will it lead to this. So why is this? This is because people do not understand the early symptoms of skin cancer.

The early symptoms of skin cancer mainly include the following:

1. The early symptoms of skin cancer are mostly erythematous or papular lesions slightly above the skin surface, often accompanied by scaly desquamation or crust formation on the surface. The symptoms are similar to benign skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and inflammation. The symptoms of basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are very similar as the lesions develop further, while malignant melanoma has special signs. The common symptom of all skin cancers is change, which everyone must pay attention to. There will be some characteristic signs, such as a shiny, translucent papular nodule with bleeding on the surface and capillary dilation or scar-like fibrous plaques with smooth surface, without obvious capillary dilation, ulcers and bulges. Or there are black spots in the lesions that merge with each other, which are also early symptoms of skin cancer.

2. Squamous cell carcinoma is often transformed from keratosis, leukoplakia and other precancerous diseases. It grows fast and forms ulcers in the early stage. Some are nodular or cauliflower-shaped, with less invasion into the deep part and a movable base; some are butterfly-shaped, with more obvious infiltration into the deep part, great destructiveness, and often involving bones. Squamous cell carcinoma is often accompanied by purulent infection, accompanied by stench and pain. Regional lymph node metastasis is common. The author encountered a huge squamous cell carcinoma in the head, which had an extremely foul odor, more purulent secretions, and easy bleeding; cervical lymph node metastasis occurred. The site of the disease is the junction of the mucosa and skin. Squamous cell carcinoma develops fastest, and those with mucosal disease are more likely to metastasize. These are all early symptoms of skin cancer.

3. Basal cell carcinoma is often asymptomatic at the onset. In the early stage, it is mostly plaque-like papules with hard bases, and some are wart-like protrusions, which then break into ulcers. They are irregular, with raised edges, like craters, and uneven bottoms, and grow slowly. Metastasis is rare. First, translucent nodules with raised edges appear as shallow ulcers, which then gradually expand and can erode surrounding tissues and organs, becoming erosive ulcers, which are also early symptoms of skin cancer.

If malignant melanoma is left untreated, it can often be cured; if left untreated, the cancer cells can spread to other parts of the body and may invade vital organs.

The above is the expert's introduction to the early symptoms of skin cancer. I hope it can help everyone. If you still want to know what precautions to take, you are welcome to consult experts online. They will give you appropriate advice. I wish the patient a speedy recovery.
