How to remove the smell from the baby bottle

A bottle is a container for children to drink milk. Of course, when the bottle is first bought, it usually has a smell. In order to avoid the baby from inhaling the smell and endangering the baby's health, or to prevent the baby from refusing to drink milk because of the smell of the bottle, it is best to remove the smell of the bottle in a certain way before using it. 1. Lemon slices

If your baby's bottle has an odor, you can cut a few small lemon slices and soak them in water in the bottle for a while. The bottle will be odorless for a few days. This is a very safe disinfection method. The milk bottle soaked in lemon slices has a pleasant lemon scent. Even if you heat the milk at night and forget to brush the bottle, there will be no milk smell at the mouth of the bottle. This lemon scent can last for 4-5 days.

2. Tea

First, scrub the cup with tea leaves soaked in boiling water, or pour tea leaves into the cup, tighten the lid, and then shake it vigorously. Rinse it with clean water, and then use new tea leaves and boiling water to brew it for half an hour to effectively remove the odor on the bottle.

3. Food grade baking soda

Be sure to choose food-grade baking soda. If you can't find it, you can go to a bakery to look for it. After buying it, be careful to prevent moisture. Method: First add an appropriate amount of clean water into the bottle, generally 2 cm below the bottle mouth. Then add 2 spoons of baking soda into the bottle. Generally, adding more is fine, but adding less will not have much effect. You can add the amount according to the size of the bottle. Stir well again, cover with lid and let stand for two hours. Note that both the straw and the pacifier can be soaked in soda water. Finally, take it out and wash it in clean water to say goodbye to the odor.

4. Cooking Pot

Prepare a stainless steel cooking pot filled with cold water to a depth that completely covers all cleaned feeding utensils. If it is a glass bottle, you can put it into the pot with cold water. Wait 5 to 10 minutes after the water boils, then put in plastic products such as pacifiers and bottle caps. Cover the pot and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, then turn off the heat. Wait until the water cools down a little, then use a sterilized bottle clip to take out the pacifier and bottle cap, and put them back on the bottle after they are dry for later use.

If it is a plastic bottle, wait until the water boils, then put the bottle, nipple, and bottle cap into the pot to sterilize it. Boil for about 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, use a sterilized bottle clip to pick up all the tableware, place it in a clean and ventilated place, and turn it upside down to drain. Plastic tableware should not be boiled for a long time, so it is recommended to put it in after the water boils and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, otherwise it will easily deteriorate. You can also pay attention to the temperature resistance mark on the bottle. If it is not resistant to high temperatures, it is best to use a steam cooker for sterilization.
