Although beer contains nutrients, it should be consumed in moderation

Beer contains nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids, vitamins and trace elements. In 1972, the 9th World Nutrition Food Conference recommended beer as a nutritious food and it was described as "liquid bread."

Beer can provide calories. One bottle of beer with an original wort concentration of 12°P (500 ml) contains about 900 joules, which is equivalent to the calorific value of 250 grams of potatoes. In addition, the malt, yeast and hops used in beer brewing are all substances that are beneficial to human health. Drinking beer in moderation has the effects of relieving heat and fever, aiding digestion, stimulating the appetite, and increasing appetite.

Beer contains about 3% to 5% alcohol, but consuming large amounts of beer may cause alcohol poisoning. Therefore, beer needs to be consumed in moderation according to personal circumstances.

The Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents (2016 edition) recommends that men should not drink more than 750 ml of fluids per day and women should not drink more than 450 ml of fluids per day. In other words, it is appropriate for men to drink about one and a half bottles and for women to drink about one bottle. Are you exceeding the limit?

Note: The recommended drinking temperature of beer is around 10~15℃. Light beer is suitable for drinking at a lower temperature, while dark beer and stout are suitable for drinking at a slightly higher temperature. So what should you do if you accidentally drink too much?

1. When you drink too much, you can drink some warm water to relieve it. If you can drink more water at this time, it can dilute the ethanol, so that the ethanol in the body will also be excreted through urination. Then drinking some fruit juice drinks is also a good idea.

2. Many people will experience stomach pain after drinking. So what should you do if your stomach feels uncomfortable after drinking? If you know that your stomach is not in good condition, then try to drink less. If your stomach hurts, you need to sober up in time. You can use sugar water to sober up. White sugar moistens the lungs and produces body fluids, relieves dry mouth and thirst, and can treat abdominal pain.

In addition, taking light salt water orally can also dilute the alcohol in the stomach and reduce the alcohol concentration in the blood.

3. If you feel stomach discomfort after drinking, you can drink some milk to protect your stomach. You can also eat more vegetables and light food.

4. To relieve stomach pain caused by drinking, you can also eat some fruits. Grapes are a good choice. If you feel nauseous after drinking, eat some fresh grapes. Fresh grapes are rich in tartaric acid, which can interact with the ethanol in the wine to form ester substances, reduce the concentration of ethanol in the body, and achieve the purpose of sobering up. At the same time, its sour taste can effectively relieve the symptoms of nausea and vomiting after drinking. If you eat grapes before drinking, it can also effectively prevent drunkenness.

5. Although drinking is difficult to avoid, you should also pay attention to moderation. Drinking too much will make you uncomfortable. There is one last trick. You can drink some white flour porridge. Other porridges are also OK. Drink some porridge that is easier to digest. At this time, the porridge should not be too thick, but you need to be careful not to drink too much.
