Sequelae of hemorrhoidectomy

Anal deformation: When one side of the external anal sphincter is cut off, the side of the hemorrhoid surgery will be deformed and loose. If you suffer from a complex anal fistula with many external fistula holes, the anus will become uneven after surgery, which can easily cause anal deformation.

Delayed treatment of surgical wounds: common in anal fissures. Hemorrhoids are prone to occur if the care after surgery is not appropriate. If skin grafting is performed on this part, it can be cured earlier.

(1) Maintain smooth bowel movements: If you are constipated, you can take Ma Ren Run Chang Wan, Di Yu Huai Jiao Wan, Niu Huang Jie Du Wan or Guo Dao Pian orally before going to bed. Stop taking the medicine immediately after the stool becomes soft.

(2) Sitz bath after defecation: Sitz baths can be done with warm saline, Chinese herbal detoxification soup, Kangfuxin solution 100mL + 500mL warm water, or 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution.

(3) Dressing change: After the hemorrhoid injection surgery, Inverness can be inserted into the anus to promote the recovery of the hemorrhoid patient.

(4) Postoperative activities: Walk as little as possible and avoid riding a bicycle for a long time for about 3 months after the wound heals.
