How to do eye protection exercises

When we were young, we would do eye exercises every day in school. However, the process of eye exercises was too complicated and many people could not perform the movements carefully. Nowadays, we can use some simple tips to make post-testing more suitable for our operation, and add some fun to the process, avoid boredom, and protect our eyes and vision in happiness. So, what are the methods and tips for protecting your eyes?

The specific steps are as follows:

1. Relax your eyes: Sit upright, let your hands hang naturally on your knees, close your eyes, focus your mind on your eyes, adjust your breathing, and relax your whole body. Be able to relax your body, calm your mood, and calm your mind.

2. Move the eyes and adjust the vision: Close your eyes and gently rotate the eyeballs in clockwise and counterclockwise directions ten times respectively; then, draw the shape of a “米” in the eye sockets ten times.

3. Rub your palms together to warm your eyes: Close your eyes, focus your mind on your eyes, rub your palms together to warm them up, and lightly apply them on your eyes. Wait until your palms are cool, then rub them together to warm them up, and apply them to your eyes. Do this several times, then open your eyes and look into the distance for a moment.

4. Push down Jingming: Close your eyes, and lightly press the Zanzhu point with the front edges of your thumbs. Press and push the skin down in the direction of Jingming. Lightly lift the upper eyelid and then relax, so that the front edges of your thumbs naturally press down on the Jingming point. Press and rub ten times, and repeat three times.

5. Push up to Yingxiang: Close your eyes, and lightly press the Yingxiang point with the middle fingers of both hands. Press the skin with the fingertips, push up along the side of the nose to the Jingming point, and then push to the Yintang point. Spread the middle fingers of both hands, push along the brow arch to the temple, down to the cheekbone, and return to the Yingxiang point. Repeat this cycle 10 times.

6. Wipe the eyelids horizontally: Close your eyes, place your palms on your cheeks, put your index finger to your little finger together, and cover both eyes. Use your index finger as the main finger to gently wipe from the inner corner of the eye to the hairline, and wipe the upper and lower eyelids alternately. Do this 20 times in a row.

7. Rub the area around the ears: Close your eyes, place your palms on your cheeks, lightly pinch the ears with your index and middle fingers, and pull down until the tips of your index and middle fingers pinch the earlobes. Then, separate the index finger and middle finger and push upwards until the junction of the index finger and middle finger touches the earlobe. Pull down and push up ten times in total.

8. Massage the neck: Close your eyes, place your palms on your neck, rub back and forth from left to right ten times, lift and pinch the neck muscles 10 times, first with the right hand and then with the left hand, alternating.
