Is it okay to pluck armpit hair?

There are a small amount of sweat hair distributed under the human body's armpits. This is a very normal physiological phenomenon, and the amount of sweat hair is also related to the individual's physique. In traditional Chinese concepts, it is often unimportant for men to have body hair, but rather it symbolizes testosterone. On the other hand, for women to have body hair, it often adds a lot of embarrassment when wearing swimsuits, suspenders and other clothing. Therefore, many women will pluck the hair under their armpits to improve their appearance. So is it really good to pluck underarm hair?

Shaving, waxing and chemical hair removal are all temporary hair removal methods and can only last for 1-2 months. Electroacupuncture and light hair removal can be regarded as permanent hair removal, because these two hair removal methods can make the cell protein of the hair papilla coagulate and denature under the action of electric current or laser beam, lose its biological activity, and thus achieve complete hair removal.

In fact, armpit hair helps sweat flow out of the body through the armpit hair. If you shave or pull out your armpit hair, it will prevent toxins from being discharged from your body through the armpits.

However, these toxins will not disappear. Instead, they will be stored in the lymph nodes under our arms because they cannot sweat. Almost all breast cancers occur in the area above the outer side of the breast, leading to breast cancer. Not only that, the razor may cut the skin when shaving. If women use antiperspirant/antiperspirant products immediately after shaving, it will increase the risk of breast cancer, because the tiny scars on the skin allow the chemicals in the antiperspirant to directly enter the armpits.

Kind reminder: Women over 40 years old should not shave their heads because the risk of cancer is higher in this age group. The incidence of breast cancer is already alarmingly high. Such awareness may save many lives. In addition, plucking armpit hair will damage the hair follicles and affect sweating. Because sweat hair can discharge sweat, dissipate heat, and release toxins, don't take it off easily unless your sweat hair affects your appearance too much.
