How to remove body hair

How to remove body hair

There are a large number of sweat hairs distributed in various parts of the human body, and under the sweat hairs are a large number of sweat glands, which can help eliminate sweat from the body. It is a very normal phenomenon for men to have body hair. However, for women who love beauty, if there is a large amount of obvious body hair, it will often affect the appearance and add a lot of embarrassment in the summer. Therefore, body hair is a distress faced by many women. So how should we remove body hair?

How to reduce body hair

1. Depilatory cream and depilatory lotion

It helps the chemicals in it dissolve the hair structure to achieve the purpose of hair removal. The main ingredient of this preparation is calcium hydrochloride. Suitable for people who are afraid of pain but whose skin is not easily allergic. A patch test must be done before use. Clean your skin before use to reduce irritation. When using, apply the depilatory cream evenly on the area to be depilated. After 5-10 minutes, the hair will become soft and can be scraped off with a scraper. Specially designed to deal with fine and soft body hair, it can quickly remove hair from a large area. This method does not cause any damage to the hair follicles, so it does not last long and will grow back in about three days. The chemical ingredients in this method are irritating to the skin. Frequent use or use on sensitive skin can cause redness, swelling, allergies, and even rashes. People with sensitive constitutions should avoid using this method.

2. Waxing

Use sticky wax to stick to the body hair and remove it all at once. Waxing is suitable for arms, legs, and subcutaneous body hair. Apply the wax evenly on the skin, and the wax should be tightly attached to the skin so that all the hairs can be stuck. Then cover it with gauze and pull up the gauze covering the skin to remove the hair by the roots. A large area of hair can be removed at one time, and even the hair that grows back will be relatively fine. It will cause pain when used; and chemically synthesized beeswax can easily irritate the skin; when tearing it down, part of the body hair is likely to remain in the pores, and the half-broken hair ends can easily penetrate into the hair follicles and cause folliculitis.

3. Patching

Similar to waxing, it is suitable for travel and has no chemical smell. Cut the patch according to the size of the required area and apply it to the required area, then tear it off quickly and forcefully. It is light and convenient, takes very little time, but lasts longer, and the regrowth hair is finer. The tearing motion must be quick for best results, otherwise it will be very painful.

4. Razor

Suitable for people who are afraid of pain and have sensitive skin. Suitable for fine hair on face, arms and legs and short hair on fingers. You should develop the habit of shaving every day, otherwise you will grow a layer of black stubble which is very unsightly. If you shave with a razor, the hair will grow back thicker. If you are not skilled in the operation, it is easy to scratch the pores, damage the delicate skin, and cause redness and swelling.

5. Clip

Suitable for people with less hair and who are not afraid of pain. Hair on the arms, legs and underarms is suitable for clip removal. If the pores are not cleaned enough, the skin's resistance will be reduced, causing redness, swelling and infection. Take some antibiotics to avoid infection.

6. Electric hair removal knife

Suitable for people who are afraid of pain and those with allergies. It’s quick and painless, easy to use, and the effects last for days. No side effects on the skin.

7. Electrotherapy hair removal

Suitable for people with non-scarring physique. This treatment needs to be done in the hospital. Before hair removal, anesthesia is administered, and then a very thin wire is inserted into the hair root. The hair follicles are destroyed after the electricity is turned on. It takes 20 seconds for each hair. It can permanently destroy hair follicles, preventing hair from growing again. However, after the operation, usually 20% to 30% of the hair may grow again because the hair follicles are not destroyed thoroughly enough. During the hair removal process, there will be slight burning on the skin surface, resulting in temporary small scars, so the wound should be kept dry. After about a week, the small scab will fall off automatically. If you have a scar-prone constitution, small spots may be left all over the body.
