The effective dose of the drug varies from person to person. Parents should contact the teacher frequently, observe the reactions closely, and find out the effective dose. If the child experiences loss of appetite, dizziness, insomnia, etc., parents do not need to panic, and the dosage can be reduced slightly. After 2-3 weeks, the child will adapt and the reaction will disappear.

To avoid drug resistance, you do not need to take the medicine on Sundays, holidays, and when you are not studying. You can also stop taking the medicine during winter and summer vacations. However, if you need to study and do homework on holidays, you can take Ritalin half an hour before studying. The effect of Ritalin can only last for 4-6 hours after a single dose. Therefore, it must be taken long-term to be effective. If you stop taking the medicine at will, the symptoms will reappear. Depending on individual conditions, the drug can be taken for 1-5 years, but as age increases and the condition improves, the dosage can be gradually reduced until it is stopped.
