Pustular acne around the mouth

Pustular acne around the mouth

Acne is a common skin disease in life. It mostly occurs during adolescence and is prone to occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and other parts of the body. It is characterized by blackheads and pustules. Many people in the population are suffering from or have had this disease. Although acne mostly appears on the face, for many people, it only appears around the mouth and never anywhere else. Here is some information about acne around the mouth.

Acne is a chronic skin disease that occurs in the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles. Although the factors causing acne vary, the most direct factor is clogged pores. The main cause of acne around the mouth is constipation, which is caused by eating too much greasy, spicy and other irritating foods, which causes toxins to accumulate in the body. Also, long-term use of fluoride toothpaste can cause acne around the mouth.

Clinically, it has been found that the nose and nose wings are prone to forming relatively large pustular or even cystic pimples, and the symptoms will become more and more severe after repeated squeezing. The nose is an area with active oil metabolism. Remember not to squeeze it, because if you don't handle it properly, it may form nodules and cysts, or even scars. In this case, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for medication or physical therapy.

Another reason for acne around the mouth is that the patient has oily skin, overdeveloped sebaceous glands, and excessive sebum secretion. The pores are clogged, which prevents oil from being discharged normally, causing inflammation and forming acne. In addition, endocrine disorders are also a major cause of acne around the mouth.

In addition to actively cooperating with the doctor's treatment, acne patients should also pay attention to care in their daily lives to prevent the recurrence or aggravation of acne.

1. Acne patients should keep their skin clean and wash their faces frequently with warm water, because cold water is not easy to wash away grease, while hot water will promote sebum secretion.

2. Acne patients should maintain a light diet, eat more vegetables and fruits, eat less high-fat, spicy and other irritating foods to prevent constipation.

3. Acne patients should avoid squeezing or touching the affected area with their hands to prevent inflammation, which may even lead to pigmentation and scarring. Inflammation affects their image.

4. Acne patients should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, avoid excessive fatigue, and keep a good mood. Do not create a psychological burden due to acne, so as not to aggravate the acne.
