Now let’s take fresh ginseng without nutrient loss as an example:

[Prepare materials]: 200g fresh ginseng, 150g donkey-hide gelatin, 250g rice wine, 300g honey (or 300g rock sugar)

【Production method】:

1. Select 100-200g of high-quality fresh ginseng, wash and slice it;

2. Put it in a casserole, add 500ml of water, boil it over high heat, then simmer over low heat;

3. When half of the water is left, pour the decoction into the prepared bowl;

4. After the second decoction, add about 300ml of water and decoct again; you can decoct it three times, and use 100ml of water for the third decoction;

5. Remove the residue and combine the liquids extracted from three ginseng decoctions.

6. Use 150g of donkey-hide gelatin and 250g of rice wine, steam it to make the donkey-hide gelatin melt, then add 150g of rock sugar and 150g of honey, stir and mix well;

7. Pour the melted donkey-hide gelatin and ginseng juice into a casserole, simmer over low heat, stirring constantly with chopsticks, until it becomes thick enough to drop with chopsticks. (Note: Stirring is not only for mixing, but also to prevent sticking to the bottom, burning, or even bursting of the casserole)

Dosage: 1 to 3 times a day, 1 to 2 tablespoons each time. Take after meals.
