How is breast cancer staged?

Breast cancer staging plays an important role in guiding clinical treatment and judging prognosis. At present, our clinical staging generally adopts the international TNM staging method, which is to stage according to the size of the tumor, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis.

The staging of breast cancer is mainly based on the size of the tumor, whether it has metastasized to distant sites, and whether there are lymph node metastases in the armpit or the number of metastases. If the tumor is less than two centimeters, it is considered T1, and if it is 2 to 5 centimeters, it is considered T2.

What are the symptoms of triple-negative breast cancer recurrence?

1. The symptom of early triple-negative breast cancer is a lump in the breast, but there is no pain. The texture of the lump is relatively hard, the surface is not smooth, and there is no obvious boundary with the adjacent tissue.

2. Breast cancer accounts for about 20% of all breast cancers, has a relatively poor prognosis, and is highly malignant. When first discovered, it presents as a painless lump that is relatively hard, locally tender, with blurred boundaries and irregular shape.

3. The symptoms of recurrence of triple-negative breast cancer depend on the site of recurrence. If it metastasizes to the lungs, chest pain, shortness of breath, cough, and sputum may occur.
