In our lives, many children will have some intellectual development retardation during their growth. In order to avoid their children's developmental retardation, some parents will train their children's hands-on ability, especially for some children who can't sit and turn over by themselves. Because they are still relatively young, they can only train their hand-eye coordination ability during training. So how to train hand-eye coordination ability? Before the age of six months, children cannot sit yet. When they play with objects while lying down, in most cases their eyes cannot see the objects in their hands, and the range of movement of their hands does not overlap with their field of vision. After half a year, when the child is able to sit up and play, he can play with objects with both hands under the supervision of the eyes. At this time, the range of hand movement overlaps with the field of vision. In this way, through the use of hands and eyes, more characteristics of objects can be discovered and the environment can be understood more quickly. For example, for a toy, the eyes can see its color and shape, the hands can feel its softness, hardness and texture, and under the monitoring of the eyes, the hands can also discover the up and down, left and right, front and back characteristics of the object by manipulating it. Therefore, hand-eye coordination is very important for developing children's motor skills, intelligence and behavior. After 6 to 8 months, adults and children can play with a ball. Roll a big ball far away and ask the baby to crawl to get it, while letting him throw a small ball at the same time. You can also use the box as a toy, cover the entire box with a handkerchief, and see how the baby reacts. Hide the toy under one box and ask your baby to find it, then hide it under two boxes and ask him to guess. Play various "treasure hunt" games with your baby. At first, the baby does not have the ability to find things, but gradually he will find the hidden things. Give your baby boxes of different sizes and teach him to put the small box into the big box. You can also teach him to put building blocks into the box or put small balls into the bowl. Through conscious and gradual training, the baby will establish an initial sense of direction and begin to gradually recognize himself. When the child is 9 months old, he can use his eyes to find things that fall from his hands; he can use a small stick in his hand to hit another object, and he especially likes to hit toys that make sounds; from 10 months to 1 year old, he can throw away the toys in his hands, and look at and point at the thrown toys with his eyes; after 1 year old, he can use a pen to draw on paper and read books with pictures; from 1 and a half to 2 years old, he can stack blocks, draw long lines on paper with a pen, pour water from one cup to another, etc.; put a small toy at the far end of the table, give the child a short stick, and teach him how to use the stick to move the toy over. These are relatively advanced hand-eye coordination movements. However, the development of hand-eye coordination ability is not exactly the same for every child. It is related to the environment, education and training. Parents should also create conditions to train their children. |
