How can I remove the foaming agent from clothes

Foaming agent is something that is not very commonly used in life. Foaming agents are mainly divided into chemical foaming agents, physical foaming agents and surfactants. The foaming agent is mainly a light yellow liquid. Many times, people get foaming agents on their clothes. Normally, you throw the clothes away or take them to a dry cleaner. Well, in my own home. How can we remove foaming agent if we accidentally get it on our clothes?

Foaming glue is soluble in polar solvents, so it can be treated according to the method of like dissolving like, that is, the following method can be used for cleaning:

1. If the time is not long, drop a few drops of gasoline, alcohol or banana water on the stained area and soak for about ten minutes;

2. Then soak it in warm laundry detergent for a few minutes;

3. After the oil print is gone, rinse with clean water to make it clean;

4. You can also follow the first step. After cleaning, drop 1-2 drops of 10% oxalic acid solution on the stained area, wait for a few minutes, and then use laundry detergent to wash off the oxalic acid solution. This way, it can be removed.

Wherever polyurethane foam is sold, the matching foam cleaning agent will be sold. This is the only thing that can clean foam. The foam cleaning agent is used to clean the foam gun after the foam gun is used during construction.

Unfortunately, however, cleaning agents can only clean uncured foam glue, and have almost no effect on cured foam glue. Foam glue usually starts to solidify after about an hour of contact with air. Even if the glue layer is relatively thick, it will be almost completely solidified in 6 hours. After solidification, the foam glue can only be removed by hard tools such as knives and shovels. This is the basic characteristic of foam glue and the reason why foam glue is often used as an adhesive in construction.

When the foaming agent is just sprayed, do not wipe it with your hands or other objects, as this will only expand the area of contamination. After the foam has dried, peel it off, or use a blade to cut or scrape off the removable part, then expose the clothes to the sun, after which it will turn into powder.
