What are the symptoms after suffering from lung cancer? 8 symptoms indicate that you have lung cancer

The serious harm of lung cancer makes many people unwilling to hear the name of this disease. However, many times, bad living habits always lead to various diseases in the body. For a disease like lung cancer, the body will have many uncomfortable symptoms after the disease, which seriously affects the patient's health.

1. Cough is one of the most common and painful symptoms. Some are mild dry coughs, but some are severe coughs. In patients with chronic long-term coughs, once the nature of the cough changes, such as becoming frequent or occurring at night, you should be alert to the presence of lung cancer.

2. Half of lung cancer patients will have symptoms of hemoptysis. 30% to 40% of patients will have pulmonary chest pain, which is generally intermittent and not severe chest pain. It manifests as dull pain or drilling pain, which can last from several minutes to several hours.

3. Fever is also a symptom. Most of the fever of lung cancer is caused by inflammation due to bronchial obstruction and poor drainage caused by cancer. 4. Symptoms of chest tightness and shortness of breath are usually more obvious in the late stage of lung cancer, especially when there is a lot of pleural effusion.

5. Bone and joint symptoms: Because lung cancer cells can produce certain special endocrine hormones, antigens and enzymes, these substances act on the bones and joints, causing swelling and pain in the bones and joints.

6. Shoulder and back pain: Peripheral lung cancer often develops posteriorly and upwards, eroding the pleura, involving the ribs and chest wall tissue, thus causing shoulder and back pain. Such patients rarely have respiratory symptoms.

7. Hoarseness: Lung cancer metastasis compresses the recurrent laryngeal nerve, causing hoarseness. Since lung cancer metastasis can appear in the early stage and sometimes grow faster than the primary lesion, the clinical manifestations of metastasis may appear before the primary lesion.

8. Neurological symptoms: Brain metastasis of lung cancer may cause neurological symptoms such as headache, vomiting, sudden coma, aphasia, hemiplegia, etc. Because the lung symptoms are not obvious, they are often misdiagnosed as thrombosis or brain tumors.

If we can develop good living habits in our daily lives and stay away from various causes of disease, we can stay away from the harm of lung cancer. Moreover, if we go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately when we have any discomfort, it will be of great help to our health.
