Treatment of breast cancer

Treatment of breast cancer

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women and is a systemic disease. At present, it emphasizes comprehensive local and systemic holistic treatment. According to the pathological type, biological characteristics, regional lymph node metastasis, TNM staging and menopause of the tumor, surgical treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, biological therapy and other comprehensive treatments are generally selected. Generally speaking, for breast cancer in clinical stages 0I, II, and III, if there are no surgical contraindications, comprehensive treatment should be based on surgical treatment.

What do white blood cells eat during breast cancer chemotherapy?

Breast cancer chemotherapy is easy to reduce white blood cells after chemotherapy because chemotherapy drugs have an inhibitory effect on the bone marrow. You need to pay attention to regular blood routine checks after chemotherapy. If the white blood cells are only slightly reduced, you can take some white blood cell drugs under the guidance of a doctor. In the diet, you need to pay attention to light food, do not eat spicy and greasy food, pay attention to cold and warm, and do not go in and out of more people. If the white blood cell count drops significantly, diet therapy and oral medications are less effective, you need to seek medical attention in time, use granulocyte stimulating factor drugs to help stimulate bone marrow hematopoietic function, and severe bone marrow suppression usually requires hospitalization, isolation, observation, and symptomatic treatment.

What should you pay attention to in your diet after breast cancer surgery?

Breast cancer surgery does not require the abdomen and has no obvious effect on the digestive system, so the requirements for diet are not very strict. Generally speaking, you can gradually eat 6 hours after surgery, gradually transition from a liquid diet, and try to eat some light and easily digestible food. At the beginning, you can eat small meals frequently, and you can eat a normal diet after two or three days. For the diet for breast cancer, it is mainly a light diet, eat less spicy and stimulating food, eat less greasy and pickled food, eat more fruits and vegetables, and maintain normal work and rest.
