My throat and chest feel cold and stuffy

My throat and chest feel cold and stuffy

Sometimes, seemingly serious illnesses may actually be caused by bad lifestyle habits. For example, if you feel chest tightness and nausea, and a cool feeling from the throat to the chest, it is likely caused by poor gastrointestinal function. Of course, in addition to gastrointestinal problems, another possibility is heart problems. I would like to remind everyone that if you experience any heart discomfort, you must see a doctor.

In fact, good or bad appetite can indeed reflect the body's diseases. If you experience chest tightness, nausea, or vomiting, it may be caused by an illness, even a serious disease.

First, it may be a sign of a heart attack.

Many patients with myocardial infarction, heart disease, and coronary heart disease will experience heartburn, chest tightness, and nausea before the onset of the disease, which are often confused with stomach problems.

The explanation for this phenomenon is that the vagus nerve that controls the heart also controls the gastrointestinal tract, so heart discomfort will manifest in the gastrointestinal tract, and at the same time, gastrointestinal diseases will also cause heart discomfort.

Patients with high blood pressure, high blood sugar and a history of heart disease should be especially alert to this phenomenon.

Second, she might be pregnant.

Around the fifth week of pregnancy, women experience morning sickness.

The main symptoms are low appetite, nausea and vomiting when smelling greasy or pungent odors, and physical fatigue.

There are currently two explanations for morning sickness. One is that it is caused by a large increase in HGG in the body after pregnancy. When HGG decreases, morning sickness disappears. Second, pregnancy makes women's gastrointestinal tract more fragile and their sense of smell more sensitive.

There is currently no better way to treat morning sickness. It is usually relieved through adjusting diet, psychological suggestion, and vitamin supplementation.

Third, cholecystitis

Nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, bloating, stomach discomfort, aversion to greasy food, etc. are typical manifestations of cholecystitis.

The main symptom of cholecystitis during pregnancy is pain. Generally, cholecystitis will cause dull pain and discomfort in the right upper abdomen. If it is acute cholecystitis, there will be severe pain.

Fourth, hepatitis

Common symptoms of hepatitis include loss of appetite, abdominal distension, aversion to greasy food, fatigue, and vomiting. In severe cases, it may cause pain in the liver area, fever, and yellowing of the skin and mucous membranes.

Hepatitis is divided into acute hepatitis and chronic hepatitis. Chronic hepatitis always has a traceable medical history. Such people should have a physical examination every 3-6 months, or follow the doctor's advice to have a regular physical examination.

Fifth, gastric cancer

Gastric cancer has the highest incidence and high mortality rate among all malignant cancers in my country. This is closely related to the fact that there are no obvious symptoms in the early stages of gastric cancer.

A small number of people experience nausea and vomiting in the early stages of gastric cancer, while in the middle and late stages, they may experience difficulty swallowing, weight loss, abdominal distension, vomiting blood or bloody stools, etc.

So far, there is no vaccine for gastric cancer. High-risk groups, such as those over 40 years old, those infected with Helicobacter pylori, those with a family history of gastric cancer, and those suffering from gastritis and gastric ulcers, all need to be screened for gastric cancer.

Sixth, electrolyte imbalance causes

Food poisoning, vomiting, diarrhea, drinking large amounts of water, etc. may all lead to electrolyte imbalance. If there is a lack of sodium ions in the blood, symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, etc. may occur, and in severe cases, coma may occur.

Therefore, no matter what the cause of nausea, vomiting, and chest tightness, they are not good phenomena and you should seek medical attention in time to avoid delaying the disease.
