After finishing a day's work, we all hope to have a high-quality sleep at night, which will be very helpful in relieving physical fatigue. However, sometimes when you are sleeping at night, you may suddenly feel obvious pain in your chest. When this happens, it is likely caused by myocarditis. It is best for patients to go to the hospital for examination and treatment. If you have chest pain while sleeping at night, you should first consider that it is a symptom of myocarditis, which is mostly caused by insufficient blood supply to the myocardium, and is related to excessive fatigue, lack of exercise, and a stimulating and high-fat diet. Manifestations of myocarditis The clinical manifestations of myocarditis vary, mainly depending on the extent and severity of the lesions. A few cases may be completely asymptomatic. Mild cases may present with non-specific symptoms such as fever, cough, and diarrhea. Severe cases may present with serious arrhythmias, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and even death. Therefore, the possibility of diagnosing myocarditis based on clinical symptoms alone is low. According to the clinical manifestations, myocarditis is divided into mild, subclinical, latent progressive, acute dilated cardiomyopathy, atrioventricular block, myocardial infarction-like and sudden death types. Nursing of myocarditis rest: Early patients without obvious symptoms can engage in light work and avoid stress and fatigue. Patients with heart failure can engage in light activities after their symptoms are relieved through drug treatment. Nurses should assist patients in arranging beneficial activities according to their condition, but strenuous exercise should be avoided. Patients with severe heart failure, arrhythmias and paroxysmal syncope should rest in bed to reduce cardiac load and myocardial oxygen consumption. Nurses should assist in daily care. For patients who are bedridden for a long time or have edema, they should pay attention to keeping the skin clean and dry, turning the patient over and preventing bedsores. diet: Give an easily digestible diet that is low in fat, high in protein and vitamins, and avoid irritating foods. Do not eat too much at each meal to avoid increasing the burden on your heart. People with heart failure should be given a low-salt diet. At the same time, patiently explain to patients the importance of dietary therapy in order to gain their cooperation. In addition, you should quit smoking and drinking. Close observation Observe the condition closely and monitor blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm for critically ill patients. When high-degree atrioventricular block occurs, the doctor should be notified immediately, and emergency supplies, medicines and preparations for cardiac pacing treatment should be prepared as soon as possible. Closely observe vital signs to prevent sudden death. Patients with dyspnea should be placed in a semi-recumbent position and given continuous oxygen inhalation. The oxygen flow rate should be adjusted according to the condition. The nasal cannula or nasal plug should be changed every 12 to 24 hours. Blood gas analysis can be performed on patients with heart failure to understand the effectiveness of treatment. |
