How much can be eliminated in 30 days

It takes some time for an HIV carrier to become an HIV transmitter. Some people may even be HIV carriers for ten years without developing any disease. Once HIV patients become ill, it is recommended to avoid wound infection, because once the wound is infected, the disease will definitely mutate. Pay attention to the progression of HIV virus carriers' illness and do not allow the disease to develop maliciously.

It takes a while for HIV virus to enter the body and HIV antibodies to be detected. We call this period of time the "HIV window period", which is generally considered to be 2 weeks to 3 months. So we believe that the best time to test for HIV is after the window period.

With the development of HIV testing technology, it is now believed that testing after 6 weeks can rule out more than 99.98% of infection, which is relatively accurate.

The incubation period of AIDS begins when the virus is infected. Before the emergence of combination therapy with new drugs, the incubation period lasted an average of five to ten years. It varies depending on the individual's level of self-care, but it may be longer.

There are no symptoms during the HIV window period?

In other words, the infected person will not show any symptoms during this period and can live and work like normal people. Until the body's immune system is completely destroyed and collapsed by HIV, opportunistic infections occur due to loss of resistance, leading to the disease.

When the virus enters the human body, it will produce antibodies, and the current test is based on detecting antibodies. However, due to insufficient antibody concentration at this time, the correct result cannot be detected. It is necessary to wait for a period of time before the test can be detected. This period of time is the window period.

For most people, the window period is three months. In other words, if you have risky sexual behavior on December 1st, the window period will start from then on. In other words, the effective test date should be March 1st.

There is also a necessary condition, which is that no other risky sexual behavior can be engaged in during these three months, otherwise the calculation must be started again.

However, there are still a very small number of people whose window period may last for more than three months, half a year or even longer; in addition, some friends may be in a window period for a long time (such as people with continuous multiple sexual partners, intravenous drug addicts, and even housewives). If this is the case, it is recommended that you use the number of sexual partners and the frequency of sexual behavior as the basis for regular check-ups. If you have multiple partners, it is recommended that you do a test every six months; otherwise, once a year is sufficient.

Although there are no symptoms, it is not invisible.

For the human body, HIV invades the TH lymphocytes of the cellular immune system, causing immune deficiency, and most patients eventually show clinical symptoms of late-stage infection. For the virus's own specific antigens and antibodies, the increase and decrease of the two can explain the state of the disease and guide the diagnosis of clinical staging.

Once the antigen is detected to be positive, it means that the person has been infected with the HIV. This has two meanings or often represents two different stages of infection: if the amount of virus infected by the HIV carrier is large, then the virus will reproduce in a large amount in the TH lymphocytes. Although the virus is in the latent period of infection at this time, the HIV antigen can be detected in the serum. For the first discovered HIV carrier, it can be used as a basis for early diagnosis. On the other hand, as the time of infection goes by, the HIV antigen constantly stimulates the body to produce antibodies. When the amount of antibody produced is large enough to completely neutralize the antigen, the antigen cannot be detected in the blood in the body. At the end of the latent period, the replication of the virus increases significantly and the speed also accelerates. At this time, the HIV antigen can appear in the serum again, and the corresponding TH lymphocyte level in the body shows a significant decrease. This often indicates the end of the HIV latent period, and AIDS is about to appear, which is the late stage of the entire disease process.

The production of AIDS antibodies often begins 4-12 weeks after infection with the HIV virus. This is no longer the early stage of infection and the "window" period (a blank period when the viral antigen disappears but the antibody has not yet appeared), but an indication of the incubation period. If a person is found to be HIV antibody positive, he or she should be considered an HIV carrier.
