Is it good to work out in the early morning?

Since everyone’s working hours are different, people usually make time for fitness during their free time at work. However, some people may work until late at night, so they can only choose the time when the bell rings when exercising. Generally, we are in a deep sleep state in the early morning, so forced fitness may not be good for the body. So is it good to exercise in the early morning?

Optimal exercise time

Studies have found that high-intensity exercise can be performed two hours after a meal; moderate exercise should be performed one hour after a meal; and light exercise is best performed half an hour after a meal.

Morning session: before breakfast.

Morning period: 2 hours after breakfast to before lunch.

Afternoon period: 2 hours after lunch and before dinner.

Evening period: 2 hours after dinner to bedtime.

Modern exercise physiology research shows that the highest and lowest points of human physical strength are controlled by the body's "biological clock", generally reaching a peak in the evening. For example, the lowest point in the body's oxygen absorption is at 6 p.m.; the regulation of heart rate and blood pressure is most balanced between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and the body's sense of smell, touch, vision, etc. are also most sensitive between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Therefore, overall, exercising in the evening is more effective. In addition, the activity of hormones in the human body is in a good state between 4 pm and 7 pm, and the body's adaptability and nerve sensitivity are also the best. Therefore, experts advocate exercising in the evening, but during the evening, you should pay attention to the intensity of exercise. Too high intensity will excite the sympathetic nerves and hinder sleep.

1 a.m.: Most people have slept for several hours, passed through various stages of sleep, and entered the light sleep stage that is easily awakened. At this time, people are particularly sensitive to pain.

2 o'clock: Except for the liver, most organs in the body work at a very slow rhythm. The liver uses this relatively quiet time to speed up the excretion of toxic and harmful substances after metabolism, which is like a cleaner doing a comprehensive cleaning and housekeeping.

3 o'clock: The whole body is in a state of rest, with bones, muscles and joints completely relaxed. At this time, the human body's blood pressure is very low, and the pulse and breathing rates are also very low.

4 o'clock: Blood pressure is at an even lower level and the blood supply to the brain is very small. Many patients and people with poor physical constitutions are prone to death during this period. However, healthy people in this period have very sensitive hearing and will wake up at the slightest noise. If you get up in a hurry at this moment, you will feel dizzy.
