Why can't I sleep at night

Why can't I sleep at night

Modern young people are under great pressure in work, study and life, and most young people often work overtime and stay up all night for work and study. As a result, being in this environment for a long time not only leads to sleep problems, but also affects their physical health. In fact, if you want to alleviate the symptoms of insomnia, it is best to develop good living habits and relieve stress yourself frequently.

Causes of Insomnia:

1. Environmental factors:

Noise or light interferes with sleep, high temperature or severe cold affects sleep, and uncomfortable bedding such as being too hard or the quilt is too thick or too thin can all affect sleep. Changing sleeping environments, such as being hospitalized or staying in a hotel, can also cause insomnia. Sleeping partners, especially those who snore loudly, can also affect sleep.

2. Physiological factors:

Traveling across several time zones at high speed (jet lag) and switching from day shift to night shift can also cause insomnia because the body clock has not yet adapted to the new circadian rhythm.

3. Psychosocial factors:

Stress and various life events can cause insomnia. Anxiety about your own or your loved ones' illness, fear of surgery, death of a loved one, worry about exams or accepting important work are all common causes of temporary insomnia.

4. Physical illness:

Various painful diseases, such as heart and lung diseases, arthritis, advanced cancer, nocturia, gastrointestinal diseases, renal failure, hyperthyroidism, Parkinson's disease, etc. often cause insomnia.
