What should I do if the pressure cooker keeps venting?

Pressure cookers have indeed brought great convenience to our lives, because they can stew food until it is tender. All you need to do is add the ingredients, and there is no need to stir the food constantly during the process. Just turn on the fire and cook for a while, then turn off the fire, simmer for a while and then serve it out and eat. So why does the pressure cooker keep venting?

Definitely not normal! This phenomenon is collectively called air leakage. This phenomenon is definitely not normal!

There are several types of pot leaks:

A. Air leakage from the top of the pot:

1. The plastic shell of the pot top has cracked, and the pressure needle on the pot top cannot press the air column (referring to the old pot top whose pressure needle is connected to the plastic shell);

2. There are too many debris at the top of the outlet column, so the pressure needle fails to press the outlet temperature column.

3. The pressure in the pot is too high or malfunctions. Before the pressure switch trips, it has exceeded the normal pressure, and the pot top is automatically lifted to exhaust;

4. The inner rubber ring has cracked and is leaking. (Note: The new pot top has two levels: exhaust and sealing, so pay attention to this.)

B. Float leakage:

1. The float rubber ring is aging and damaged and leaking.

2. The safety rod in the flat handle is not in the correct position, which blocks the float when it rises, so that the float cannot rise completely to ventilate.

3. The rubber ring that fixes the float is cracked and leaks.

C. Leakage of rubber ring (around the pot lid):

1. The rubber ring is aging and has lost its sealing performance;

2. Is the leakage caused by the replacement of the rubber ring not matching the pot?

3. Check whether the inner pot of the pot has been deformed due to being dropped.
