What's wrong with the bald spot on the back of the head

Baldness on the back of the head is quite common in life. Others jokingly call it the Mediterranean or the local surrounding the center. There are many reasons for baldness on the back of the head, which is related to age. For men, if the secretion of male hormones is too strong, if they are under too much stress and depressed, these may cause this phenomenon. At this time, you can use certain Chinese medicine to regulate it, and the effect is good. In addition, you should also pay attention to diet and health.

Why is there baldness on the back of the head?

Most people would understand that the top of the head has the highest temperature and the most oil, so it falls out the fastest. A person's hair is most abundant on the edges of the head. High stress can also cause baldness. Take some time to relax.

However, experts say that this is mainly because the top of the head contains a large amount of 5α-reductase, which can cause a reaction in the androgen in the skin, shortening the growth period of hair follicles, reducing the diameter of hair follicles, and finally leading to hair loss.

The androgen receptors and 5α-reductase levels on the frontal and parietal scalp are higher than those on the occipital region, so the hair on the occipital region will not fall out. Another reason is that the scalp at the back of the head contains more aromatase, which will not induce hair loss after it takes effect.

Because of this characteristic, if the scalp hair at the back of the head is transplanted to the forehead and top of the head, the hair that grows there will be the same as that at the back of the head, and will maintain its growth characteristics and will not fall off.
