Do you have a sudden buzzing in your ears?

Most people have experienced sudden buzzing in the ears, but generally this phenomenon will recover on its own. There are many reasons for buzzing in the ears. Sometimes tinnitus is physiological and generally does not require special treatment. Sometimes tinnitus is pathological and needs to be treated in time. It is best to go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

What should I do if my ears suddenly buzz?

The first type, tinnitus, can be divided into transient and persistent types. If the tinnitus is temporary and only lasts for 1-2 hours, but disappears again a few hours later, it is a physiological phenomenon and you don't need to be overly nervous. It is usually neurasthenia tinnitus caused by staying up late or getting angry. The treatment method is simple. Drink more water, take some Huanglian Shangqing Tablets or Niuhuang Jiedu Tablets or Jianglonghua, and rest more, and basically there will be no problem.

The second type is persistent tinnitus, which occurs when you suddenly wake up and start to have tinnitus, and it continues to ring. This happens if it was cold last night, or you felt cold outside yesterday, and you woke up with tinnitus today, especially if it is accompanied by symptoms of vertigo. It is usually caused by wind and cold. The treatment method is similar to that for treating a cold. In addition, boil water with ginger slices, red dates and brown sugar, drink more, then sleep and rest, and basically there will be no problem.

The third type is when you suddenly have tinnitus without any reason. In this case, think about whether you have not paid attention to hygiene, or the environment around you has been very bad recently, causing your ears to be infected with bacteria. For example, whether water has entered your ears, or whether you have stayed too long near a garbage pool or other places with bad environments when you go out. Treatment method: keep the ears clean and dry, dry them with a cotton swab after each bath, drink plenty of water, and take oral anti-inflammatory drugs, such as amoxicillin capsules, cephalexin capsules, etc. Do not take other types of medicines, such as painkillers.

The fourth type is when you suddenly hear a loud noise, followed by tinnitus. This usually means that the hearing system is affected. This situation usually does not require medication, and you should not take medicine indiscriminately. The human body has its own recovery function. You just need to stay away from the sound as much as possible and rest quietly. You can press the tragus and pull the ears appropriately, but don't use too much force. Generally it will be completely healed in 3-4 days.

The fifth type is when tinnitus and fever occur at the same time, check immediately whether it is food poisoning. If so, go to the hospital immediately. If not, check whether you have rhinitis or laryngitis. If so, see if it is serious. If you have rhinitis, laryngitis or the like, you only need to cure your rhinitis and laryngitis. Because it is just a nerve effect, not any other problem with the ear.

The sixth type is otitis media, which is a more troublesome ear disease. Generally, due to lack of hygiene, there are bacteria in the ear that cause the disease. There will be tinnitus and bursts of pain. In severe cases, it will be very painful when the ear is touched. In most cases, only one side of the ear hurts and the other side is normal. In this case, external medicine on one side will not work, and you must go to the hospital for treatment, the sooner the better.
