Treatment of intrahepatic stones

Treatment of intrahepatic stones

Intrahepatic stones may be caused by diet, smoking or improper living habits. If we want to treat intrahepatic stones, we should undergo surgery according to the doctor's advice and take relevant maintenance measures after the surgery. There are surgical and non-surgical treatments for intrahepatic stones. Non-surgical treatments cannot cure intrahepatic stones, but can only control the onset of the disease.

How to treat hepatolithiasis

There are two types of treatments for intrahepatic bile duct stones, one is surgical treatment and the other is non-surgical treatment. Most intrahepatic bile duct stones require surgical treatment, and non-surgical treatment is a preparation for surgical treatment.

Non-surgical treatment: During the acute cholangitis attack period, conservative treatment can be used, including antibiotic treatment and liver protection treatment. If there is no attack of cholangitis, ursodeoxycholic acid can be used for treatment, which can achieve the purpose of anti-inflammatory and choleretic treatment, improve liver function, and protect liver tissue.

How to care for hepatic duct stones

1. Supplement nutrients to the liver

Protein, sugar, vitamin A, vitamin E, etc. are all nutrients that the liver "likes". Supplementing these nutrients on a regular basis is beneficial to nourishing and protecting the liver. Cereals are one of the best foods for nourishing and protecting the liver.

2. Reduce the burden on the liver

First of all, hepatitis patients should eat a light diet that is easy to digest. Avoid greasy, spicy, and high-fat foods, especially during acute inflammation of the liver.

3. Selenium supplementation is an important way to nourish and protect the liver

Impaired immune function is a common feature of patients with liver disease, which is mainly manifested in the difficulty in completely eliminating the virus in the body and the disease is prone to recurrence. Selenium, as an important trace element, is a powerful and effective immunomodulator that can stimulate humoral immunity and cellular immune system, thereby enhancing immune function and improving various symptoms of patients with liver disease.

4. Improve blood supply to the liver

As the saying goes: "The liver stores blood." What this means is that when people are active during the day, the blood spreads to the limbs, and when people rest at night, the blood is stored in the liver. Modern animal experiments have confirmed this statement: when standing upright, liver blood flow decreases by 40%, while during exercise, liver blood flow decreases by 80-85%. The liver is well supplied with blood when lying flat.

How to eat for hepatic duct stones

According to the symptoms and fat tolerance, excessive fat intake should not be taken, and cooking with vegetable oil is recommended.

On the basis of meeting the needs of patients, the total heat energy cannot be too high. Obese and overweight patients should lose weight to reach their ideal weight. Heat energy is supplied according to the principles of a low-calorie diet.

Protein should be consumed according to normal requirements or slightly lower, with 50 to 70 grams of protein supplied daily being appropriate. However, you should choose protein foods low in fat, such as skim milk and marine fish.

Pay attention to vitamin intake. Generally speaking, patients with gallstones can eat fruits except lychee, longan, mango, durian and jackfruit. However, one thing must be noted that patients with gallstones cannot eat persimmons, because the ingredients contained in persimmons can easily lead to the formation of stones.
