How to style your hair in a bun

How to style your hair in a bun

In ancient times, women would wear their hair in different buns to represent their different situations. The shape of a woman’s bun would also be different before and after marriage. But with the change of modern customs, women no longer need to wear their hair in a bun, and can choose different hairstyles according to their preferences. But some women also have a special liking for buns. So let’s learn how to make a beautiful bun.

1. Silk stockings bun

1. Comb your hair to avoid tangles and tangles. Comb your hair back. Choose a spot where you want your stocking bun to appear. The current trend is to wear the bun on the top of the head, similar to the topknot. Secure the hair with an elastic.

2. Prepare stockings. Take an old (clean) pair of stockings and cut off the part close to the toes. It would be better if you use stockings that are a similar color to your hair, but any other color will work too. You should keep the empty sock tube. Roll it up so that your stocking is no longer a tube, but a donut shape.

3.Put the stockings on the ponytail. Tie the stocking all the way down to the base of the ponytail. Next, lift up the ponytail and pull the stockings smoothly to the end of the ponytail. Wrap your hair around the stocking donut into a loose bun, tucking the ends of your hair into the stocking hole.

4. Roll the stockings inward to the base of the ponytail. When you curl your hair, it will be gathered in a circular shape. As you roll the stockings, your hair moves with them so that they are not looped over the same area, leaving the rest of the stocking exposed.

2. Smooth Ballet Bun

1. Comb your hair to make sure it is tangle-free and absolutely smooth. Pull your hair into a ponytail. This hairstyle requires the use of a comb to achieve the required smoothness. Pull your hair back into a ponytail in any position you like. The classic ballet bun is placed near the top of the head.

2. Make sure your hair is absolutely smooth before you tie the rubber band. This may take several minutes to make sure every strand of hair is smooth and not missed. After making sure your hair is smooth, use a ponytail to wrap the entire hair to ensure it is tight. Make sure it's not so loose that it will slide off over time.

3. Make a bun. Instead of twisting your hair into ropes, create spirals around your ponytail. When you are almost done, tuck the ends of your hair into the spiral and secure with a bobby pin.

4. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, you will need to use 3-7 bobby pins to secure the bun. But avoid using too many unnecessary bobby pins, you can see if you are using too many.

5. Clip the hairpins at the base of the bun so that only the ends are visible. The bobby pin should be in the middle of the bun, at the base of the elastic. This hairstyle definitely needs a hairspray to complete it. Spray all over with a strong hold spray and use your fingers to smooth out all the hair.
