Infectious skin diseases mainly include

1. Viral skin diseases: such as common warts, flat warts, chickenpox, measles, molluscum contagiosum, hand, foot and mouth disease, foot-and-mouth disease, etc. can be transmitted through direct contact or respiratory tract.

2. Bacterial skin diseases: Some bacterial skin diseases are also contagious, such as acne, leprosy, skin tuberculosis, etc., which can be transmitted through contact.

3. Fungal skin diseases: Superficial fungal diseases caused by various ringworm infections can almost all be transmitted through contact. For example, tinea capitis can be transmitted through barbering tools, and tinea manuum and pedis can be transmitted through shoes and socks. In addition, there are onychomycosis, tinea corporis, pityriasis versicolor (tinea versicolor) and Candida infections (such as thrush).

4. Sexually transmitted diseases: Various sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea, syphilis, AIDS, etc. can be transmitted through sexual behavior.

5. Others: Scabies caused by scabies mites and various pediculosis caused by lice (head lice, pubic lice and body lice, etc.) are all highly contagious.

Non-contagious skin diseases mainly include

1. Psoriasis: This disease is generally bright red erythema, with desquamation on the basis of the erythema, and it is relatively easy to fall off, and it is not painful or itchy. This is psoriasis. It looks uncomfortable, but it is not contagious.

2. Vitiligo: It manifests as depigmented spots with clear boundaries. It looks very uncomfortable, but this disease is not contagious.

3. Neurodermatitis: Generally, there are hypertrophic plaques on the neck, elbows, dorsum of feet and other parts. They are not easy to peel off and are accompanied by severe itching. This is generally neurodermatitis, caused by staying up late and scratching. It is also not contagious.

4. Eczema: Eczema is more serious, with papules, blisters, exudation, erosion, etc., and is accompanied by obvious itching. It looks uncomfortable, but it is not contagious.
