How to quickly heal frozen hands

If your hands are frozen, you must find a way to treat it. This situation cannot be ignored, but generally speaking, you don't need to use Western medicine for treatment. After all, these medicines will still have very large side effects on your body. It is still necessary to apply some Chinese herbal medicines externally as much as possible. In this way, the treatment effect is actually very good and will not cause very serious consequences. The most common ones are angelica, safflower and lithospermum.

1. Grind 5 grams each of safflower[1], rosin, yellow wax, and white ginseng into a fine powder, add 100 grams of vaseline, and make an ointment. Apply to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.

2. Make a paste with 30 grams of walnut kernels, 15 grams of sesame seeds and 20 ml of honey, and apply it to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day.

3. Wash and dry 100 grams of soybeans, then grind into fine powder. Sieve the powder, mix it with 200 grams of vaseline, and bottle it for later use. When using, wash the affected skin first, then fill the crack with ointment, cover it with gauze, and change the dressing every 3 days.

4. Soak 60 grams of angelica, 60 grams of lithospermum, and 10 grams of honeysuckle in 500 grams of sesame oil for 24 hours, then simmer until the medicine is dry and charred. Filter out the residue, leave the oil to cool, and apply it to the affected area with a cotton swab several times a day.

5. Grind 50 grams of puffball into powder, heat and melt 100 grams of cooked lard (or vaseline), add the puffball powder and mix well, cool into a paste, and store in a porcelain jar for later use. Apply to the affected area 3 times a day and continue using until healed.

6. Grind 80g of Bletilla striata, 12g of Borneol, and 12g of Schisandra chinensis into powder and mix well. Add 400g of Vaseline to make a paste for later use. When using, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area, bandage it with gauze, and change the dressing every 3 days until healed.

7. Add 30g of Panax notoginseng powder and an appropriate amount of sesame oil, mix thoroughly until it becomes a paste, bottle and seal for later use. When using, soak the affected area in hot water for 10 to 20 minutes. If the stratum corneum is too thick, use a blade to scrape off the thick stratum corneum. Then apply the medicine 3 to 4 times a day until healed.

8. Dried ginger, white hyacinth, fangfeng, evodia rutaecarpa, phellodendron, etc. (Pu'antang ginger warm frostbite cream); bathing frequency should be 1-2 times a week; wear a scarf, gloves, earmuffs, cotton shoes to keep warm, and rub your hands and ears at any time, and exercise on tiptoe when appropriate

9. 25 grams of ginger, 1 white radish, 0.5 grams of white aconite, and 25 grams of cinnamon twig. Boil the above medicines together in water, wash the affected area while it is still hot, and wash for 2 days in a row, you will be cured. The above is the amount for one day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

The meridians connected to the frozen fingers can be massaged and explored in a targeted manner, and the corresponding meridians can be massaged and unblocked.

When using massage techniques to find and massage the pain points, be sure to use appropriate force. Simply applying it lightly on the skin may not be effective.

There are many ways to massage the pain points. You can press and knead, you can pat, you can cupping if it is convenient, you can moxibustion, you can scrape, and so on. All kinds of Chinese medicine techniques can be used, whatever is convenient, the purpose is to help unblock the meridians. If convenient, you can also use some auxiliary methods such as oral and external application of Chinese medicine.

After finding the pain point, the pain in the initial stage of massage will generally be more intense, which is normal. At this time, you must have confidence and there is nothing to be afraid of. After a period of repeated massage, the pain will generally gradually weaken and disappear. If you encounter a stubborn pain point that is still painful after repeated massage over a period of time, this indicates that the pain point may be located deeper. If convenient, you can use methods such as cupping to treat it in depth, which can generally gradually eliminate the pain. The location of the pain point is a reaction to an abnormal condition in the body. Don’t give up on massaging just because it hurts. On the contrary, only by eliminating the pain through massage can it be beneficial to your physical and mental health. If the pain points remain untreated, the problem will still exist in your body and become a health hazard. After massaging the painful points for a period of time, such as a week, you can rest for a few days, and then massage again to see how the situation develops.
