Can zinc be consumed together with milk powder?

With the improvement of modern people's health awareness, many young mothers like to add various nutrients to their children during the parenting process, especially calcium and zinc. These are all helpful for children's growth. However, if you do not pay attention to the combination or make an unreasonable combination when supplementing your child with nutrients, it will not only be difficult to achieve good results, but it may even affect the child's health. So is it possible to supplement zinc immediately after eating milk powder?

It is better to supplement them separately to be safer. It would be troublesome if a reaction occurs and produces indigestible compounds. If you want to supplement zinc, you can try protein zinc products, such as Xinxian Complex Zinc Selenium Tablets.

Symptoms of zinc deficiency in children include: taste disorders: anorexia, picky eating or eating strange foods; skin diseases: prone to oral ulcers, damaged wounds that are difficult to heal, adolescent acne, etc.; poor growth and development: short stature, thinness; decreased immunity, frequent colds and fevers; and intellectual development retardation. Zinc deficiency requires laboratory testing to confirm the diagnosis.

The drug used is licorice zinc or zinc gluconate. Zinc gluconate, licorice zinc and milk cannot be taken together due to incompatibility issues. It can easily cause precipitation and cannot be absorbed, affecting the efficacy. Therefore, like calcium, it can only be taken alone. Zinc supplementation plus vitamin B can reduce the side effects of zinc, but excessive zinc supplementation will cause a decrease in copper and iron, causing iron deficiency anemia, so zinc supplementation must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor. Children over 1 year old can also supplement zinc through food: Foods rich in zinc include: lean pork, lamb, animal liver, crab meat, shrimp skin, chicken, egg yolk, hairtail, Chang fish, yellow croaker, seaweed, soybean, radish, eggplant, cornmeal, millet, wheat, cabbage, apples, bananas, etc.

Do not mix calcium, iron and zinc oral solution with milk powder when drinking, as it will affect the absorption of calcium, iron and zinc. It is best to take calcium, iron and zinc oral solution after meals. In addition, it is still necessary to strengthen the child's daily nutrition, mainly with food supplements, eat more animal liver, red meat, vegetables and fruits, and get proper sun exposure to help calcium absorption.
