Small papules will appear on the surface of the lumps, forming pseudoabscesses. This type is called variant cutaneous myiasis. Furunculous cutaneous myiasis often occurs in loose areas of skin, most commonly on the eyelids, lips, abdomen, and deep forearms, with 1 to 2 or more than 10 in number.
