How to dilute nail polish if it is too thick

How to dilute nail polish if it is too thick

There are some volatile substances in nail polish. If they are not stored properly, they will evaporate. At this time, the nail polish will become thicker. It would be a pity if you throw it away. In fact, you can add some things into it to make the nails more suitable. Sometimes you can add a little alcohol, or add a little other nail polish, which can make the nail polish become diluted again. Let’s find out.

How to dilute nail polish if it is too thick

1. In our daily lives, nail polish will naturally become sticky over time. At this time, is there any way to turn the sticky nail polish back to its original state? Today I will teach you a few simple methods that will quickly make your nail polish as good as before.

2. The first method is to use alcohol. Everyone should have some alcohol at home. The alcohol you prepare now is a good nail polish diluent. Just a few drops can dilute the nail polish, and the effect is great. The nail polish will quickly return to its original appearance.

3. The second aspect is to dilute the nail polishes, so add transparent nail polish. Transparent nail polish is generally very easy to use and will not have any effect on our sticky nail polish. Pour the transparent nail polish into the sticky nail polish and mix it, and you will find that the nail polish is back to good shape.

4. The third method is eye drops. If you don’t have the above two things, you can choose to add eye drops. Here I would like to explain that any eye drops will do, as long as they are mixed with nail polish they can always dilute the nail polish quickly, and the dilution effect is also very good, you can try it.

How to remove nail polish from your hands:

1. Use cotton balls to remove nail polish:

Remove nail polish starting from the left little finger. Press cotton onto the surface of the nail for 5 minutes. Start by wiping back and forth three times, then wipe from the back of the nail to the front, while maintaining light pressure on the surface of the nail. Place used cotton balls in a waste bin. Repeat steps 1-4 on all ten fingers.

2. Use cotton swab to remove nail polish:

Wrap cotton swabs around both ends of the stick. Start removing nail polish from the little finger of your left hand. Hold the cotton swab as you would a pencil, at a 45-degree angle to your finger. Wipe the surface of the nail back and forth from the cuticle to the front edge of the nail using the cotton swab soaked in nail polish remover. Finally, remove the nail polish remaining in the nail groove along the direction from the cuticle to the nail.

Use a new cotton swab for each nail polish. Repeat steps 1-4 on all ten fingers. NOTE: Using cotton swabs to remove nail polish is more time-consuming, but it reduces the amount of chemical exposure your hands experience.

3. Use floral water to remove nail polish:

Prepare some floral water and soak a cotton swab or cotton ball in it. Then press the cotton swab or cotton ball on the surface of the nail and wipe back and forth until the nail polish is removed. This method is not as strong as the first two methods in removing nail polish, but toilet water is milder than nail polish remover, less irritating, and does not harm the nail skin.
