Every child is born with the same basic characteristics, but every child has his or her own unique talents. Some babies can walk earlier than others. In fact, there are not many factors that lead to this. It has nothing to do with the baby's own intelligence or the parents' educational ability. The most important relationship is the baby's own reasons. Only by persisting in every step can every child be able to walk at the age of one. There are five stages for a child to learn to walk: The first stage (usually when the child is ten to eleven months old): This stage is the first stage for the baby to start learning to walk. When parents find that the baby can stand steadily without letting go of their hands, they can start trying to walk. The second stage (twelve months): Squatting is an important development process at this stage. Parents should focus on training the baby's standing-squatting-standing continuous movements. Doing so can enhance the baby's leg muscle strength and train the body's coordination. The third stage (over twelve months): At this time, the baby can walk with support. Next, the baby must learn to take two to three steps without using his hands. During this stage, the baby's balance training needs to be strengthened. The fourth stage (around thirteen months): At this time, in addition to continuing to train the leg muscles and the coordination between the body and the eyes, parents should also focus on training the baby's ability to adapt to different surfaces. The fifth stage (thirteen to fifteen months): The baby can already walk well, and his exploration of the surrounding things gradually increases. Parents should satisfy his curiosity at this time and enable him to develop in a positive direction. Most babies learn to walk between 12 and 14 months old. Children will not deliberately learn to walk late, and parents should first remind them not to be too impatient, but to pay close attention to see if the baby has appropriate reactions to walking alone. Based on past infant development research literature and the book "Motor Assessment of the Developing infant" on gross motor development, the vast majority of scholars and experts agree that about 50% of babies can walk without being handed around at 11.5 months old, 90% can walk independently at 14 months old, and 100% can walk independently at 18 months old. |
