How to wash the blood stains on the quilt

How to wash the blood stains on the quilt

We all know that when women have their periods, the most worrying thing is how to spend the night. Often, because of sleeping, the period will be on the sheets and quilts. The period on the sheets and quilts is very difficult to wash off. Ordinary cleaning methods have no effect at all. They can only lighten the color, but still leave particularly obvious marks. So how to clean the blood stains on the quilt?

Blood stains, milk stains, and urine stains are all water-soluble stains. Fresh blood and milk stains can be removed by soaking them in cold water (18 degrees) for 3-60 minutes, then scrubbing them repeatedly with raw soap. When soaking in clean water, adding a little salt or ammonia can improve the stain removal effect. It is difficult to remove old blood stains and milk stains. You can consider the following methods:

(1) Grind carrots or white radishes and mix with salt. Apply the mixture to the stain and rub it repeatedly with your hands. Then rinse with water. Because the protein in the blood and milk will break down when it encounters the amylase in the radish, thus removing the stains.

Removing Blood Stains

For fresh blood stains, rinse with tap water and rub repeatedly with soap. For old blood stains, first rub off as much as possible, then soak in warm water and wash with an enzyme detergent. For blood stains that cannot be removed by the above methods, using a rust remover may be effective.

(2) Using ginger to scrub blood or milk stains is also very effective.

(3) Wash with detergent first, then clean with a dilute ammonia solution, and finally rinse with clean water.

(4) Old urine stains can be scrubbed with warm detergent (soap) solution or dilute ammonia or borax solution, and then rinsed with saturated soap.

Blood stains and milk stains should not be washed with hot water. When exposed to high temperatures, the protein in these stains will firmly bind to the fibers, making them more difficult to remove.

To remove blood stains, soak the blood-stained clothes in cold salt water, then rinse with warm water, and then soak them in soapy water and heat them to boil to completely remove the blood stains.

How to clean old blood stains on quilt:

1. You can use white radish juice or mashed carrots mixed with salt to remove blood stains on clothes.

2. Wipe the stained area with 10% tartaric acid solution and then rinse with cold water.

3. Use enzyme laundry detergent to remove blood stains, the effect is very good.

4. Whether it is a new stain or an old stain, it can be cleaned by rubbing with sulfur soap.
