Are cerebral hemorrhage and brain stem hemorrhage the same?

(4) For patients with moderate brainstem hemorrhage (about 10-14 ml) and severe symptoms, continuous administration of large doses of albumin for about 3-4 weeks can gradually stabilize the vital signs of some patients.

Lung infection is one of the complications of cerebral hemorrhage. Patients with risk factors for lung infection include:

(1) The disease is severe and the body's preventive function is reduced after the disease occurs;

(2) Most patients are middle-aged and elderly people with weak disease resistance, which makes them prone to nosocomial cross-infection;

(3) Patients have varying degrees of dysphagia, which can easily lead to aspiration;

(4) Impaired consciousness, sluggish cough reflex, and inadequate discharge of oropharyngeal and tracheal secretions;

(5) The patient needs to stay in bed for a long time due to illness, which causes accumulation of respiratory secretions in the lungs;

(6) There are relatively many invasive procedures, such as nasal cannula oxygen inhalation, gastric tube insertion, and endotracheal intubation, which increase the chances of bacteria entering the body.

Cerebral hemorrhage

The onset is generally acute, lasting only minutes or hours, but cerebral hemorrhage still has a gradual development and evolution process. In the early stage of the disease, there will be more or less some abnormal conditions, that is, some prodromal manifestations with warning signs. Among patients who suffer cerebral hemorrhage, 50% have premonitory symptoms. The risk of cerebral hemorrhage is very high within the first year after the onset of prodromal symptoms, especially within two months.

Once these precursor symptoms appear, it indicates that cerebral hemorrhage is about to occur or has entered the prodromal stage of cerebral hemorrhage.
