Does hiccups and vomiting mean pregnancy?

Many people have experienced hiccups and vomiting. If you have sex, do not take contraceptive measures, and your menstruation is delayed, then you may be pregnant. Hiccups and vomiting are also common phenomena in early pregnancy reactions. If not, then there may be gastrointestinal problems. In fact, if you want to confirm the diagnosis, it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up to see if you are pregnant or sick.

In the early stages of pregnancy, almost every pregnant woman will experience the following symptoms:

1. Menopause. Amenorrhea is the most obvious sign of early pregnancy. If a woman has a normal menstrual cycle but her period is more than 10 days late, she may be pregnant.

2. Early pregnancy reaction. Early pregnancy reactions usually appear after 6 weeks of pregnancy, including dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, increased salivation, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting.

3. After 8 weeks of pregnancy, you may experience an increase in the frequency of urination.

4. Breast changes: After pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of estrogen and progesterone, the breasts of pregnant women will gradually grow larger starting from the eighth week, the color of the nipples and areola will deepen, and there will be dark brown nodules around the nipples.

5. Changes in basal body temperature. A woman's normal basal body temperature is a bidirectional curve, that is, it is lower before ovulation and higher after ovulation. If the menstrual period does not come when it is due, and the body temperature does not drop after rising and remains for more than 18 days, you are pregnant.

Regular check-ups are necessary during early pregnancy. So what are the projects that expectant mothers should do? Basic items include establishing a pregnancy health care manual, determining gestational age, estimating due date, assessing high-risk factors during pregnancy, blood pressure, body mass index, fetal heart rate, blood routine, urine routine, blood type (ABO and Rh), fasting blood sugar, liver function and kidney function, hepatitis B virus surface antigen, syphilis spirochete, HIV screening, electrocardiogram, etc. Although it seems like a lot, they must be done for the health of the baby.

If your pregnancy is more than 12 weeks, the doctor will use a Doppler fetal heart rate monitor to listen to the baby's fetal heart rate, and will also make an appointment for a B-ultrasound. In addition to conducting various examinations for you, the doctor will also create a card for you, that is, establish a formal pregnancy physical examination file for you in the hospital. Its purpose is to regularly record the details of each subsequent prenatal examination and various examination items so that the doctor can have a comprehensive understanding of your pregnancy. If you have any questions at this time, you can consult a doctor. Under the doctor's guidance, you can take care of the fetus and your baby will grow up healthily.
