Ceramic perm steps

Perming is not just for girls, many boys also do it. Among the current perming methods, ceramic perm is a more popular one. It feels more natural after using ceramic perm and is easier to care for in daily life. More importantly, ceramic perm is less harmful to the hair. Before doing the ceramic perm accurately, it is best to understand the perm steps and the hair care after the ceramic perm.

Ceramic perm steps

1. The first step of ceramic perm is to soften the hair. The degree of softening by applying lotion is similar to that of straightening hair. Then rinse off the lotion and wipe off the moisture with a towel. Do not blow dry to keep the hair moist.

2. Apply a curling mask or conditioner on your hair. Apply the conditioner to the length you want the curls to be. Don't apply too much. Then divide the hair into sections according to your design and start curling. Make sure the curls are tight and smooth.

3. After all the hair is curled with the curling rods, start heating it. Because the ceramic curling rods will get hot and you may get burned, it is best to put a heat insulation pad under the rods to prevent them from directly contacting your scalp. Or you can hang all the levers with the hooks on the ceramic machine. This method is the safest.

4. Set the temperature. Determine the temperature according to the quality of your hair, but try to keep it as low as possible. The temperature of a ceramic machine is generally higher, and the temperature of a digital curling machine is much lower. Therefore, the ceramic perm usually takes about 5 minutes each time for healthy hair, and about 3 minutes each time for damaged hair. After heating for 5 minutes, cool for 5-10 minutes. Repeat the operation until the hair is dry.

5. Wait until the bar is completely cooled, and then start applying the styling lotion. Note that the lotion must be applied thoroughly. You can apply it again carefully after a few minutes, then wait for a while, and finally clean your hair and blow dry it.

Ceramic perm care

1. Do not use a hair dryer to blow or straighten your hair within 48 hours after ceramic perm, otherwise your hair will be damaged even more.

2. People with short hair should not use ceramic perm as it is easy to leak curls.

3. When washing your hair, choose a high-quality, low-alkaline shampoo and then use a conditioner to keep your hair soft, fluffy and shiny and increase the firmness of your hair.

4. It is best to do a hair treatment once every month. Apply the hair treatment cream evenly on the hair to keep the hair fluffy and natural.

5. It is best to have an interval of more than half a month between perming. For those who are getting a perm for the first time, the perming time should be shortened as much as possible. At the same time, it is best to have an interval of more than half a year between the second perming, which will cause less damage to the hair.
