Ligament sprain is the most common ligament inflammation. It should be said that anyone who loves sports has a very high chance of developing ligament inflammation. After a joint ligament is sprained, there will be local swelling, pain, tenderness, and if there is subcutaneous bleeding, a cyanotic area may be seen. It is very important to treat joint ligament sprains correctly in the early stages. Because ligament tissue is not easy to regenerate and recover, special care should be taken to protect it. So what are the symptoms of ligament inflammation? Ligaments are tissues that connect two bones. There are two most common types of ligament sprains: ligament sprain on the outside of the ankle, which is what we usually call a sprained ankle; and ligament sprain on the knee. Swelling and congestion will appear at the site of ligament sprain. Ligament sprain is caused by external force that causes joint movement beyond the normal physiological range, resulting in sprain, partial rupture or complete rupture of the ligaments around the joint. This is called joint ligament sprain. After a joint ligament is sprained, there will be local swelling, pain, tenderness, and if there is subcutaneous bleeding, a cyanotic area may be seen. It is very important to treat joint ligament sprains correctly in the early stages. Because ligament tissue is not easy to regenerate and recover, if it is not treated properly or misdiagnosed and turns into a chronic disease, it may leave functional impairment and be prone to sprain again in the future. Ligamentitis is a chronic aseptic inflammatory injury without redness, swelling, fever or pain. It is most likely to damage the superficial fibers of the T3-5 and L3-S1 supraspinal ligaments. Long-term bending over and working with the head down or secondary to intervertebral disc and spinal diseases are common causes of this disease. Generally, patients mainly experience pain behind the thoracic vertebrae, accompanied by symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, and palpitations. Some of the symptoms are very similar to myocardial infarction, and it is easy to misdiagnose clinically. However, careful physicians may find obvious tenderness behind the thoracic vertebrae when palpating. The electrocardiogram was not very supportive of myocardial infarction. I found that patients with thoracic supraspinal ligament inflammation usually have more or less problems with the cervical and lumbar vertebrae. This should be related to the anatomical position of the thoracic spine in the center of the spine. Acute muscle strain leads to secondary involvement of muscle spindles and innervating nerves. The cause of the disease is that the muscles are repeatedly injured due to the lack of proper treatment and good rest after the injury, and secondary edema invades the nerves. Due to long-term and repeated muscle damage, the muscle fibers undergo the same degree of calcification, which eventually leads to soft tissue myitis. In addition, the treatment of the sister-in-law and the daughter-in-law resulted in the symptoms not being cured but worsening, resulting in muscle contracture that made it difficult to flex and extend muscles. The onset of this disease is a complex injury, and its treatment must be based on Chinese medicine to enhance and regulate the blood supply of the affected tissues and nerves, soften the fibrotic muscle scars, and stimulate and activate the paralyzed nerve function to control and regulate the nutrition and blood supply of the muscles. Only through complex treatment can the disease be fundamentally restored. Factors that cause lumbar ligament inflammation include: sitting for a long time, standing for a long time, bending over for a long time, carrying weight, sitting too low, sprained waist, and sleeping on a soft bed, etc. Try to avoid these in daily life. Now you have to sleep on a hard bed, and when you lie on the bed, you can put a small pillow under your waist (tie a belt). You can walk to the back and often hang on the horizontal bar, doing the "two-end lift" exercise (lying on your stomach and lifting your waist with force to lift your head and feet up). Strengthening the lumbar muscles will help recover from lumbar disc herniation. Don't bend over when lifting heavy objects. You should squat down to pick up the heavy object first, and then stand up slowly. Try not to bend over. Pay attention to keeping your waist warm and try not to catch cold. In clinical practice, lumbar ligament inflammation is a disease in sports medicine and a common injury among athletes. The most common sites of disease are the lower back, followed by the lumbar sacral region. Athletes practice dorsiflexion too much, which causes repeated squeezing and impact of the spinous processes, causing injuries to the ligaments (supraspinous and interspinous ligaments). Such as volleyball spiking, diving bending, gymnastics back flip and so on. In addition, people who lack physical exercise have poor back muscle strength. In order to maintain the flexion and extension of the spine, the burden on the supraspinous and interspinous ligaments is increased, the traction on the spinous processes is aggravated, and chronic strain is caused. External application of plaster is an effective treatment method, and fascia ointment is a good choice. Lumbar ligamentitis is mostly aseptic inflammation, and the treatment methods include physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, pain point blocking, Chinese medicine fumigation, blood circulation and blood stasis removal, and meridian dredging. Avoid injuries and colds. Keep warm! Avoid bending over, carrying heavy loads, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Choose a hard bed for sleeping and wear a waist belt. In terms of diet, try to eat less or no chili peppers. Although chili peppers can stimulate the appetite, dispel cold and dampness, they can also help fire to rise and aggravate the condition. |
