The skin on the inner thigh is itchy and dark

The dark skin on the inner thigh is something that is a bit difficult to talk about. Due to its privacy, many people feel embarrassed to ask others what is going on. In fact, there are several situations in which the skin on the inner thigh turns dark. The first is ingrown skin caused by fungal infection and unclean clothing. The second is skin inflammation, which usually causes peeling. The third is allergies or wearing pants that are too tight. These are all possible reasons for the darkening of the inner thigh.

1. It is tinea cruris, also known as tinea corporis. It is characterized by local small red papules distributed in a circular shape and gradually expanding outward. The central skin is normal. It is a fungal infection caused by pathogenic fungi invading the skin on the inner thigh. Transmission is through direct or indirect skin contact. It is recommended to use non-hormonal bactericidal drugs for treatment: first apply bifonazole solution to the affected area, and then apply naftifine ketoconazole cream externally. The drug can reach deep lesions from the outside to the inside, which is safe and has no side effects. When applying the ointment, you don’t need to apply it too thickly, just a thin layer. Apply it continuously for 2-3 weeks and it will heal. Ringworm is a disease that is very prone to recurrence. It will be more effective if you continue taking the medication for another week after the symptoms disappear.

2. Phenomena caused by skin inflammation include changes in skin color, itching, ulceration and peeling. It is recommended to keep the skin clean, avoid repeated irritation, apply hot compresses to relieve the symptoms, and apply itching remover and erythromycin ointment for treatment, which may improve the condition.

3. Commonly caused by local skin allergies. Avoid contact with allergens. It is recommended to eat a light and easy-to-digest diet and avoid spicy fish, shrimp and other irritating foods. Take astemizole tablets orally and apply Enfu cream topically

4. Fungal infection can be treated with ketoconazole ointment. If it does not improve, you can go to the dermatology department of a regular hospital for treatment. ,

5. It may be caused by blood stasis and wind dryness. It is recommended to see a Chinese medicine doctor and take Chinese medicine for conditioning. Pay attention to your diet and eat less spicy food. It is also recommended that you drink more water.
