How many levels are there in the placenta

The nutritional value of the placenta is very high. It is also the most important outer garment that protects the baby during pregnancy. If there is a problem with the placenta, it also means that there is a problem with the baby's body, and it may even affect the child's normal physical development. If there is any abnormality, you should go to the hospital for regular examination. As for how many grades the placenta is divided into, it depends on the specific situation.

What does placenta grade II mean? There are 4 grades of placenta: grade 0, grade I, grade II and grade III. Grade I indicates that the placenta is basically mature; Grade II indicates that the placenta is relatively mature; Grade III indicates that the placenta is mature and tends to be old. In this case, you should focus on long-term pressure on fetal movement, and go to the hospital as soon as possible if there is any abnormality.

Generally, the placenta in mid-pregnancy (12 to 28 weeks) is grade 0; the placenta in late pregnancy (30 to 32 weeks) is grade Ⅰ; after 36 weeks, the placenta is grade Ⅱ, and after 38 weeks, the placenta is grade Ⅲ. Of course, everyone's situation is different. I am less than 37 weeks pregnant, how come the placenta is already grade III? If grade III placenta is detected before 37 weeks and the fetal weight is estimated to be over 2500g, you should consider precocious placenta and be alert to the possibility of intrauterine growth restriction of the fetus. Expectant mothers should try to lie on their left side as much as possible, have regular prenatal checkups, and observe the development of the fetus. If they find that the fetal movement is too much or too little, they should go to the hospital for treatment at any time.

Will calcium supplementation cause placental aging? How to prevent it? Calcium supplementation will not cause placental aging. Placental aging is generally caused by overdue pregnancy, placental dysfunction, or pregnancy complications such as gestational hypertension and diabetes in the pregnant mother, which results in a decrease in blood supply to the placenta. Keeping healthy, avoiding illness, and having regular prenatal checkups are the best ways to prevent placental aging.
